Yam Mader just lost his arbitration case and only way if he plays for the Celtics next season is if the Celtics buys him out..  but will they & how much??

Highway robbery if you ask me

His intention was to play overseas for one season

His team should have known. And attached some secret clause it looks like

Yam and Celts should sue his team

In contract law, one must be made aware of everything crucial

Either Yam agent/lawyers are inept or current team is a crook

Danny and org have some blame in this also
Yam wanted to come over last season. But was instructed to stayback one more season

So if no way out. Celts should pay the fee

Yeah, I have no idea what he’ll be. Trying to keep my hopes at a reasonable level.

Doesn’t help when they write an article like this, where they say he’s up to 40.7% from 3 on 4.4 attempts/ game because he’s a quick, confident shooter when the defender goes under a screen. Honestly, if he can become a solid reserve PG who distributes the ball, hits open 3s, and isn’t a liability on defense, that would be a *huge* win for a player drafted in the 40s.

He is still coming to Summer league?   right

If so if he does well they will buy him out, if not it is water under the bridge

If they want him that buy out isn't that high. If they want him to stay an extra year it's a good excuse to keep him overseas.
