You do realize that the chances that Cunningham is as good as Brown, never mind Tatum, is extremely slim. Jaylen is 24 and Jayson is 23. Both are already all stars at that age. What are we talking about...This makes no sense.

Cunningham is considered a similar type of talent. His size + skills

At the same age, just a notch higher level talent than Brown or Tatum

Brown or Tatum are obviously better now.  But you see Cunningham games and what experts say. And he could also be special

He is a naturally gifted passer. Can shoot and is a horse on D end

"Experts" said the same thing about Markelle Fultz. I don't see a reason to trade one of two young All-Stars under contract for an unknown. Maybe Cade is really special or he could be the next Wiggins. It's an unnecessary gamble.

Cade is not the next Wiggins or Fultz.  He will be better

He is already a very good shooter, passer and ball handler (needs to tighten up a tad more)

Fultz couldn't shoot.  Wiggins has low IQ/one dimensional

There's no way you can know that with absolute certainty. You think he'll be better, you hope he will be. But you can't make an unequivocal declaration like that for a kid who's never played an NBA basketball game.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Michael Beasley was a better player and more dominant coming out of college(averaged 26 and 12. 38% from 3pt) than Cunningham was and look how that turned out. You ever hear the phrase  'A Bird in the Hand is Worth Two in the Bush'?  Tatum and Brown are sure things.

Not sure if you read my post

This is not just about Brown and Tatum

how are you going to add talent....in order to take the next step??

Even Lebron with Cavs (1st time around)  was a dead end.... in that he could not win the ultimate prize

The players run the league. Have to hope Tatum and Brown are good at recruiting

So now .. .this is what it has come to/will come to?

most of the young talented players like them are locked up with their own teams.  The ones that may walk....  I'm not confident Boston is their preferred destination.  Brown and Tatum also don't strike me as "recruiters"

Then there is "money" issue you didn't talk about. Walker has two more years left on his deal.

How is the Celtics suppose to sign this third super player?

Yes, this is what it has come to. If a player asks out they will get moved. Boston has to wait for that to happen and hope the C’s are one of the teams on their list. Kemba can be used with picks and young players to acquire another star player at that point.

"Me and Jayson actually spoke for quite some time," Walker said of their interactions in Paris. "Jayson’s such a good guy, such a great player. For the most part, I like being around high-character guys with work ethic. Just guys who I can be around, be myself around. That’s kind of the vibe I got from JT when I was around him."

"When we left Paris, as the days went on and free agency came and I made my decision, a lot was because of him.”

“I’m very excited … I think I had a big part with him coming here. I was with him in Paris … I never told him to come, but I told him I would love for him to join the team and told him how it was. Obviously everybody has to do what’s best for themselves, and I’m happy for him.”-Tatum

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Kemba for picks? And young player?

He has a negative value. He has knee issues...cmon

Im glad Tatum tried.... but right now the team is stuck with Walker salary

In two years, Tatum/Brown will be within a year  ....to stay or walk

I'm in the "why are we talking about trading an all-star" camp.  Everyone trying to trade Kemba, he's untradeable IMO.  I think the guy that's gone is Smart.  I have no ideas where, but I'll throw this out there, Kris Dunn and John Collins for Marcus Smart.  I'm not even sure we need Dunn in there on a S&T for Collins, but in order for the trade machine to work, I did it.

Atl wanted Brown for Collins (rumor). Smart is not bringing back Collins + Dunn.. would need to add extra

Smart is an asset for rebuild assistance imo

I'm not sure that this benefits either team really. Houston would want the younger and more cost-controlled player in Cunningham, and IIRC Wall's mega contract expires one year prior to Kemba's.

Meanwhile, we'd just be hoping Cunningham reached Brown's level one day
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

It is laughable to trade away Tatum after he just scored 50 points or more 4 times in a single season.

That would be the dumbest move.  Even the #1 overall pick in next year's draft is unlikely to be as good as Tatum and even if he could reach that level, you'd need another 3 years of development.

So HELL NO!!
