Chauncy pulls Jackson aside for reluctance to pass

I like this...

Chauncey would be my favorite choice for now.  I want a guy who will hold all the players accountable.  That 2004 Piston team played so well together.  He gets what it takes, especially when you don't have a couple of top 5 players.

This is where I'm at too. Listening to the Russillo podcast with Mc Mullen, Simmons and KOC yesterday they had some great stories about him too. They all agreed he had a presence about him, very cerebral and great leadership

C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Carlisle would be perfect if he’s willing to leave Dallas. Snyder has the Duke connection so who knows...either of them would be great.

Isn't there a rumor that there was some friction between him and Luka ?

not sure why else he would want to leave

How about Tommy Ammaker?

Class act, credibility, has a great relationship with at least Jaylen, probably Tatum too.

NBA and NCAA chops….I like him.

Watched him a lot at Laivetes  when my daughter was cheering there….keeps his cool, good in-game and preparing strategist. Keeps his cool, but knows when to get fired up.

He's my choice. or the big balls walking guy.

I like Chauncey, Mark Few, Kelvin Sampson, Kara Lawson, maybe Joerger...I don't know not in love with anyone really.  Can KG coach?

Who I don't want are Cassell or Kidd.

OMG, no way on Amaker.  He’s had limited success in college.  If Duke wasn’t interested in him to replace Coach K, why should we want him for the Celtics?  I’d rather have Lloyd Pierce, and I do not want Lloyd Pierce.

Howard on Franz Wagner announcement tp declare for the draft
Shortly after the announcement was made public, head coach Juwan Howard expressed some high praise for Wagner via his twitter account on Tuesday afternoon.

"All-In, Accountability, Discipline, Trust, Sacrifice and most of all Family! You embody each of these values down to your core I want to THANK YOU for all you have done for me, and for us. This next step is going to be a wonderful & beautiful journey! Enjoy it! Go Blue!"

Amaker is a good coach - and he did recruit Grant Williams.  But he's also never coached at the pro level.  I also don't think he's had enough success - say to the level Stevens did in college - where you might say he can easily make the jump.  His recent Harvard teams have been nothing special.

I like Howard.  He's got a pretty ideal resume for somebody who would be a first time NBA head coach.  But, he's got a pretty good thing going at Michigan.

I wouldn't be against Van Gundy.

Looking at some of the Knicks teams he coached you certainly can't say they were soft.

They definitely weren’t soft, but unfortunately prime Charles Oakley and Anthony Mason don’t come with Van Gundy aaaand I’m gonna guess they had more to do with it than he did

Nope. Howard would be a good pick but he seems set where he is.
