OMG!

I'm shocked but they had to do something.

I tried to stop you from going to sleep last night...lol

I know you did. I made it until 5am...

Wow, big day for Celtics nation!

Huge day....we got what we wanted...season is not a total loss.

I believe Ainge has a small ownership stake, although internet search engines are too focused on the breaking news to confirm it.  I'm curious if he keeps it if he does in fact have it.

Great move...next shoe to drop, Rondo Head Coach.

He has enough weight, 2 rings, he's a former Celtic, a PG mentality and they'll listen to him.

Rondo??

Brad is done playing connect 4

Rondo didn’t respect Brad in Boston......nyet.

So does #44 go to the rafters next season?

Press conference ongoing

Danny's decision, he brought it to ownership
Started thinking about it after his heart attack
Has been in process for a couple of months
Doesn't appear that there will be any staff changes within the organization (e.g., Zarren)

Err.  Chances are that we end up with a worse coach and a worse lead executive.

Guess we will get a clue of what Stevens thinks of players on the roster.

I doubt it.....Brad is not cut out to coach the nba.....they burnt him out. Danny was and his great but he is a victim of his success....he had to go.

I mean, it's probably a little premature, but why not?

Perhaps for coach, but I think Brad could end up working as gm as long as Zarren is there to help him out.

My sentiments exactly Roy, a coach and manager with 0% NBA experience in their role, what could go wrong.

Nobody better to hire a coach than Brad..he knows the nba player and what it will take to coach that player...he will make a good choice.

  • GOT IT!!!
Calling it now, Stevens will be back in college within 2 to 3 seasons. Don’t understand the move considering he has zero experience in being a GM. This seems to me that ownership just doesn’t want a complete overhaul as of yet. Change doesn’t always have to be bad so stop being afraid of it.

Stephen A Smith apparently blasts Celts for not hiring a non white GM.

He was incorrect about Nash hiring btw. Non white coaches have been hired without coaching experience

I really thought they'd give it another year but I'm glad they are getting some fresh blood in. It's needed!
