My slogans for chanting

“Kyrie’s a Quitter”

“ Not a Alpha “

“ The Biggest Mistake Ever “

Grew up in NY suburbs and let me say, NYC and Brooklyn had some of the most offensive street comments I have ever heard  towards all types of ethnicities

"Bron's your Daddy"
"KD's boyfriend"

We can do better than the second one.  It implies homophobia

Over the past year or so, Brown and Tatum, have been at the forefront of representing the team in regards to the BLM movement. This was especially true for Jaylen. Does their silence on Kyrie’s remarks confirm what he said? Or are they afraid of losing their status in the BLM movement if they disagree with Kyrie?

Not only are the Nets embarrassing the Celtics on the court, but now they’re (Kyrie and Durant) also mocking the city your representing. At some point, if they’re the leaders of the team, Tatum and Brown need to speak up.

You're totally right.  Thanks for calling me out as I whiffed there.

Let's change it to "Second fiddle"  :)

Would love to see Jaylen step up here.  Something along the lines of - "We know there's issues here in Boston that need to be addressed.  And we also know the issue of race exists in many other places.   But calling out Boston just because the fanbase doesn't like you anymore does a great disservice to the movement."

I wish he could cite examples he faced in his two seasons playing for Boston.

I think he’s selling a narrative and trying to bait the crowd. I could see the crowd obliging and it getting ugly. I could see them not and him saying they were making racist remarks anyway. I don’t trust him one bit.

I whips this series wraps ASAP. We really don’t have championship aspirations this season and I don’t want this to have long-term ramifications (for future trades/signings/extensions).

Tbh I doubt Jaylen nor Tatum will come to the rescue

I think it best for absolutely no one associated with the Celtics to comment. Why give an idiot like Kyrie an even larger platform by replying to his dribble? You're only feeding the troll by responding.

If Brown or Tatum are asked the question "what do you have to say about Kyrie's comment that Boston is racist?" the best response would be to make one of those "eye rolling, are you kidding me smirks" and say: "Next question!"

 Perk speaking up:

Quote
Former Celtic Kendrick Perkins came out in defense of Garden fans in the wake of Irving’s remarks, noting that he did not see any of the experiences that Irving referred to during his lengthy NBA career.

“Celtics fans are some of the best fans in the world. I played there for eight-and-a-half years. I lived there for eight-and-a-half years. And me personally, I never dealt with any type of racism while I was living in Boston,” Perkins said on NBC Sports Boston after Game 2. “That’s just me personally. I never dealt with it. I also came back as an opponent of the Celtics. I played there with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Cleveland Cavaliers and still never experienced any racism.”

Perkins also compared the expected atmosphere to other arenas around the league like Madison Square Garden.

“It’s always extra with [Kyrie]. I don’t even know why we’re surprised by this comment,” Perkins continued. “Just think about it, in New York the other night fans were chanting ‘F Trae Young.’ That don’t mean that they’re racist, that’s just, they’re ruthless. They’re just cheering on their team. But do we expect anything less than Kyrie to be extra about something?”

The crowd should chant "We are racist" and then switch to "Victim" everytime Kyrie touches the ball

I’d certainly take any comments like that, I think you should take them very, very seriously,” Stevens said. “I don’t know what context he was discussing there, but I do think, I know that the
Garden, I know that the Celtics, I know that the NBA, I know that everybody is very alert to making sure that our fans don’t cross the line. And I think that that’s really important.”

“People shouldn’t ever feel like they’re being discriminated against. But I think that everybody is dialed into that now,” Stevens said. “That hasn’t been brought to my attention that that’s happened, maybe but once or twice since I’ve been here, and it was dealt with immediately. But maybe it’s happened and guys haven’t talked about it. And certainly, Kyrie had never mentioned anything to me about it, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. And I think that those things should always be taken really seriously.”

Man, I really don't care about how we'd look, I sincerely just want people from our organisation to trash Kyrie

I think Tacko should seize the opportunity to become a Celtics legend and lay him out, Kurt Rambis style.

It's very hard to call out a guy with obvious mental illness in this day and age without looking like a bully.
