Why won’t you go to Lopez down low?? He’s got an incredible size advantage. Coach is terrible.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

They need to cut FTs back to 5 seconds. Not 10.

10 is far too long. Waste of time. Makes games more boring.

I'd bet a solid amount of money that this rule would make Giannis a better FT shooter too.

Free throws should never exceed more than 5 seconds.

Guys are just stalling for time/strategically planning (for extended rest) when they dribble slowly 3x on the line until it hits 10 seconds or more. Remember Dwight Howard when he was with the Magic. Ridiculousness.

This alone would already help lol I really hate most of the calls out on the perimeter, plus Harden’s usual constant parade to the line. Really glad the league is going to take a look at reviewing some rules in the off-season.

Cause they spent the whole season playing a different way because of analytics. Analytics said this was the most efficient way on average so this is what they do.

Only basketball is not about averages. It is about specific situations which is why you need to develop different strategies that you can use as needed.

Bad use of analytics and very common use of them in today's NBA.

It need to be "good entertainment". And calling someone for 10 seconds on a free-throw isn't good entertainment.

Eh, how good of entertainment is a free throw?

The longer a free throw takes, the less entertaining it is.  No?  (Though it is kind of fun watching the crowd and players get upset).

Call it once, I bet he shoots it quicker the rest of the game, making the rest of the game more entertaining.

If it wasn't such an important Game 7 (and Harden/Durant weren't such good free throw shooters), I would love to see them sacrifice one on their end.  Durant/Harden goes to the line, just hold it as long as possible until the refs call something. 20, 30, 45 seconds, however long it takes.  Once they acknowledge the rule, they got to call it both ways, right, RIGHT? (ya right  ::))  Kind of like how when a big man is upset he's not getting the ball, he'll camp out in the lane purposely getting a 3 second call so his teammates will be forced to acknowledge him.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I'm on board with you. 100%. I don't like it either.

But that's pretty much how the league thinks. Can't call your main binkie for tonnes of free-throw violations.

I'ma swallow what I said earlier and admit it. Refs definitely favouring the Nets now.

Bucks getting their hands slapped on every shot but no calls.

Nets shoving and pushing like mad and getting no fouls called against them.

I'll say it again, BG and BBrown for the Nets have given them great games
combined 12/18 fg, 27 points, 15 rebounds...pretty good for the complimentary guys in their starting lineup.

Watch every rebound on a Bucks shot.

SO MUCH shoving, yet not a single call ever.

I like "letting them play" but can we please get that both ways.
