Kawhi and PG combine for almost 70 and still fall short. Some of their role players (Beverley, Morris, Zubac) are stinking it up

One of our posters suggested a trade of Kemba for those 3 stinkers. You have to wonder if KL re-ups if they get bounced again this year.
If I were him I'd be off to Miami. Good tax, good weather, good coach and GM, couple of secondary star level players.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Embarrassing display from a supposed title threat in the Clippers.  Throwing their last two games so they avoid the Lakers in not just round 1 but also round 2.  Especially pathetic given the Lakers should be the easiest to beat in the 1st round coming off the play in game and while they get their 3 best players back into full health.
basketball karma saying don't do this.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Rajon Rondo Apparently Yelled At Ty Lue And Serge Ibaka, Who Yelled Back At Him

Ty Lue has coached this series terribly, and while I'm not a huge Lue fan, I thought he'd be an improvement over Rivers and that just doesn't appear to be case.  A lot of the issues though seem to be roster related.  They don't have a very good roster.  George and Leonard aren't a great fit because they are both at their best at SF.  And while I think they have some solid role players, I think they are playing above their level and aren't great fits.  Leonard as a 1 is fine and George as a 2 is fine, but they have no 3's on that roster and frankly may not even have a 4 (Ibaka and Batum seem a bit washed and Morris, Beverley, Jackson, and Rondo just aren't that great).  They really need a 3rd option.  If they had a real legit 3rd option, I think that would help a lot of their issues as they wouldn't need to rely on Morris, Beverley, Batum, Jackson, etc. for actual scoring.  Put those guys down the option tier and I think they perform better.

Like Lou Williams. They had that 3rd scorer and they still had problems.

This seems pretty inconsistent with your trade proposal you bring up everywhere.

Boston has really good and probably going to be elite #1 and #2 players. They have a terrific #3 in Kemba and if Fournier returns one of the best #4 options in the game.

But you want to trade Boston's terrific #3 option to the Clippers for 3 players you readily admit aren't #3 players and can't be relied upon to score.

And you think this would help Boston? Seems more like you're trying to help out the Clippers with you're proposal than the Celtics.

I hope in the next game aginst the Nets the Celtics come out and hit the Nets in the nuts like The Lakers did to The Suns!

No I think those guys would be very fine in a role here.  Boston would have Tatum, Brown, Fournier, and Smart still in that proposal (as well as R. Williams and Nesmith).  The C's wouldn't need Morris to score 15 a night or Beverley to score 12 a night.  Beverley is a great defender and very good 3 point shooter.  Even in the 2 Dallas games you see that, but the Clippers can't afford for him to score 6.5 ppg because they don't have the scoring elsewhere.  They need Morris to score a lot.  I think the Clippers are missing the balance and need those guys to perform above their station, I just don't think that would be the case in Boston.  I think Boston's problem (aside from true top end talent) is roster construction.  There isn't great balance on the team.  I think adding some really solid quality depth would help a lot and I don't think Kemba is a good fit at all with Tatum and Brown.  I think he just doesn't work here.  I have no idea if he'd work in LA either, but I think it is the type of trade that makes sense for both teams.

Old and relatively inefficient, which is why they shipped him off for Rondo.  I mean he was down to 12 ppg in LA this year when they had a need for shots.

Draymond wondering why the double standard.

He doesn't play on the Lakers with LeBron. It's simple!

or on the Lakers without LeBron. The Lakers always get special treatment due to being the 2nd largest market in the NBA. New York is the largest market team but perpetually mismanaged.

Why didn't the Hawks have a better record? They are a deep team and well constructed.

My guess is, lots of new personnel to integrate, and Bogdanovic was hurt for part of the season. Rose also didn't come over until mid-season.
