Regardless of how everything prior went down, I’m pretty sure Tatum’s 2 missed FT’s were huge. Which is an anomaly. Doesn’t this dude usually make these pressure FTs? Like I remember seeing or hearing a stat before where he was one of the tops in the league in clutch FTs.

But down 3 with 30 secs left, C’s could’ve played D, got the stop and had a chance to tie. Instead, the missed FT meant being down 4 with 30 secs left and the need to foul to stop the clock.

Brad should be at a point where his rotation is set. He should not be giving time to Edwards, Semi and he must reduce playing time for Grant, Langford and Neismith.

He should be giving more time to PP, Parker and Fournier, and ask PP to shoot more.

This team isn't beating Brooklyn in the playoffs. They just got curb-stomped by them without Durant and Harden while Irving had a bad game.

Sigh, looks like other fans can now mock the Celtics for that trade with the Nets many years ago. Look how lopsided Brooklyn is now

If KD, Harden, and Kyrie are healthy, no one is beating Brooklyn in the playoffs.

Thing is, that's been very rare for this team.

I agree that we probably don't beat Brooklyn in a 7 game series, but I think it's more because it's a bad matchup for us. I think in the playoffs Brooklyn will actually be slightly worse, as the game slows down and defense becomes more impactful. Once we're fully healthy, I think it'd be a closer series than people think.

We also really don't know what this team's ceiling is given our awful injury and Covid luck this year. I think we're in the same tier as Brooklyn, Philly, and Milwaukee once fully healthy, though ultimately I think Milwaukee finally takes that trip to the Finals this year. I think both Philly and Brooklyn will be exposed in the playoffs, and who knows whether we'll get healthy or have enough chemistry playing together given the injuries.

Payton 22 points no turnovers.

Could've had more with more minutes. On a night with Kemba out and Pritchard on fire why only 24 minutes. He only played 20 last night. Pritchard finished with 23 points, 3 rbs, 2 assist, a steal and 0 turnovers. Wake up Brad!!!!

We need a coach who will demand that his players execute within the offense instead of forcing iso plays that result in bad hero shots and turnovers. Brad is too soft. What does he say to these guys when they watch film of these games in which our players repeatedly make the same mistakes?

It's a shame that Romeo hasn't show the slightest bit of NBA aptitude in his two starts. I was keen to have a look at him get meaningful minutes, but he looks scared out there offensively, and we already have too many defensive "specialists".
What pass?

Huh?

lol wrong post

I don't get it with Brad.  Something is definitely wrong.

Petty note: I don’t like how Tatum doesn’t pressure the pass. It’s by design too. Just something CBS and I don’t agree on I guess

EDIT: he never pressures the pass

What pass?

that would pretty much be what i think the playoff rotation will be.

and then some magical mix ONE of semi, williams, nesmith, and langford depending on the matchups.
