PP making Brad look worse and worse down the stretch with his decision to bench him earlier lol

He’s been benching the kid for no reason over the last couple of months... it makes no sense

Maybe Payton should have played in the 3rd quarter

Brad didn't think so.

He doesn’t have a clue

Brad shouldn't coach with that blindfold on!  :o

Ugh, Tatum with two big missed free throws down the stretch, let alone a couple turnovers. You don't turn it over and make those free throws, this probably ends differently.

Yeah, this is going to go down as an impressive 38/10 night on a solid 14-27 shooting night, but Tatum was not good down the stretch. He has been awful his last couple of games, but I'm happy he can at least he can shoot again.

Not even going to say anything.  That's a game best forgotten.

Onto the next one.

Tatum and Smart have single-handedly lost this game for the Celts. Smart is a turnover machine and Tatum constantly forces plays instead of including his teammates in the offense.

I mean, without Tatum's 38 and 10 this is a 20+ point blowout, and without Smart's third quarter offense it's the same story. Tatum, PP, and Smart kept them in this. It's the overall weakness of the supporting cast and our injuries that really doomed us.

Jerking him in and out of the line up. Up and down on the minutes. On and off the ball.

It's a shame that Romeo hasn't show the slightest bit of NBA aptitude in his two starts. I was keen to have a look at him get meaningful minutes, but he looks scared out there offensively, and we already have too many defensive "specialists".
What pass?

This team isn't beating Brooklyn in the playoffs. They just got curb-stomped by them without Durant and Harden while Irving had a bad game.

Sigh, looks like other fans can now mock the Celtics for that trade with the Nets many years ago. Look how lopsided Brooklyn is now

Pretty bizarre take.
hot takes and lash outs. it happens after a rough loss.

If KD, Harden, and Kyrie are healthy, no one is beating Brooklyn in the playoffs.

Kyrie could be a healthy scratch. Loose cannon. Loves the drama.

Yeah, really. Besides, if they weren't located in either the greater NYC or LA area, they would still be mediocre. I guess it's a surprise to some that having two superstars join your team for free and then another one demanding a trade to your team makes you good.

PP and Jabari should get more minutes moving forward. They played their hearts out today.
nesmith also looked improved. let's see what a few more minutes shows for him as well.
