I think if Brad gives Jabari meaningful minutes, he is going to play lights out with the Celtics.

I agree and hope.

Just finished watching it.  What a fun game.  So many circus shots.

My nomination for game MVP:  Tatum’s

Only watched the end of the game, so how did Jabari play? His statline does look really nice.
Really solid. Like, weirdly solid. Was an offensive rebounding presence, bullied the Warriors inside scoring and hitting some mid-range jumpshots, moved off-ball well. He's not a good defender, but he was trying at least. That's better than someone who gives no effort

I expected nada, nothing, so what he gave us was like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow haha
I think what he gave us at the end that we haven't had off the bench in years is a vet presence that didn't get nervous under the pressure.  his D needs work but considering it was his first game with us, he looked a lot better than I expected

Steph Curry is the biggest punk in the NBA. Someone needs to knock him on his a$$

Ermmmm I don’t quite see this.
How do you not see it? He wiggles around and dances and acts like a fool after every made 3. He makes Antoine Walker look like a choir boy. Those antics wouldn’t have lasted in the 80s.

He is perfect for busting that zone we always see in the playoffs. Plus he has to be played on the offensive end you can't double off of him. Good grab by Danny.

Btw the Blazers game and tonight, the Celtics have played two of the most entertaining games of the year in the past week.

Awesome win tonight. Such a better feeling about this team now than a few weeks ago.  You can see the confidence and chemistry growing.

I still love Payton!

Huge play for PP on the O-board and 3.   Just great.

Reasonably well. no real surprises. Can score, literally doesn't look interested in defending. I can live with it though, he can score at an NBA level, something the rest of our 9-15 guys are yet to prove they can do.

You guys keep saying he doesn’t want to defend..he has had a couple of knee surgeries, maybe those have something to do with his defense?

That's a big part of it, it's really affected his lateral movement. If you compare him from before those ACL surgeries and after there's quite a difference. But Brad is one of the better coaches at figuring out how to hide a player's weaknesses and putting him in situations that highlight his strengths, so I think the lineups he will play in will feature a lot more help for him, especially if there's someone like Timelord behind him protecting the rim if someone beats him off the dribble or puts him in the pick and roll.

Good to hear Jabari put in some good minutes! He looked a bit out of shape to me, so maybe he'll continue to play himself into basketball shape.

Semi and Grant 0 for 6 from 3.
Grant had a decent game. Sure, it would have been nice if he hit a three, but his defense was excellent. He got switched onto Curry a bunch and played amazing defense on Curry only for Steph to hit some ridiculous jumper.

Ya. Part of it is that he feels the need to be such a cocky guy when he’s so good. But just look at the difference between when Curry makes a 3 and when Tatum does.

Am so excited to get Evan back and see how well he can team up with Jabari.

He doesn't take himself too seriously. The Fab Five were much worse and they were just after the 80s

I wouldn’t mind some of our guys being more of a punk or “instigators” as DA calls them. Only Marcus and Tristan fit the description.
