Only watched the end of the game, so how did Jabari play? His statline does look really nice.
All things considered he was pretty solid. Certainly not the Jabari of old (dominating usage and interior presence) but not the Jabari of recent times (lazy, out of shape) either. His usual weaknesses were exploited defending on the perimeter and in the P&R where he gave up some shots, he turned the ball over early due to nerves probably, but he also showed some nice moves in the post offensively and he showed some mongrel in working to get offensive boards and putbacks. I think as he gets more familiar with where he's supposed to be in the defensive scheme and when to switch and when to close out he will be better. If Brad can get him to buy in to playing defense and can put him in situations that minimize his weaknesses he will be a good addition.
Definitely a huge upgrade over the player he replaced Mo Wagner, who was worse than useless. He didn't have a high bar to meet but he exceeded it pretty easily.
