It was also a Brad Steven's classic. Forcing minutes to someone who isn't playing well and not playing players who are. Pritchard, Nesmith, and Kornet combine for 8-16 from the field in 36 minutes and Fournier was 0-10 in 33 minutes. That seems like a coaching issue to me.

Could Kornet be another story like Jae Crowder?

At first we thought it was just a fill-in for the season and a filler in a trade, but front office was actually aiming at getting this specific player because they saw potential to be developed?

I think so. Or at least I hope so.

Well, after one game played, perhaps one loss. Fournier shoots 30% instead of 0% and they may still be playing.

Going 0-10 usually means you were a major reason for a loss in a fairly close game.

That said, I like Evan's game. I said early on that Fournier would be a good get for the TPE and still believe he will be. I do wish they had closed that deal a month ago though.

Stuff happens. 0-10 happens. Nervousness over moving to a new team mid season happens. He will be a very good addition once he starts feeling comfortable in Green.

Fair enough re: Fournier -- I didn't see the game, but he's clearly a good player.

But I was asking what proportion of blame for this season goes to Ainge...?

I want to give them some time, as they do not even know the system.  I would like to evaluate in a few weeks.  Right now it is an incomplete as we do not know how the parts will fit.  So far it has opened up minutes for Timelord which is good and minutes for Grant which is bad.   Hopefully, the latter will be mitigated when TT comes back.

We had some momentum were making a move.  Then he went small and put in Grant with a lineup that was working and it failed and switched momentum back and by the time he realized it we could not recover.

A lot of it is not having the talent but sometimes Brad chooses the wrong talent for the situation.
