If Smart is staying put

And Celts obtain Gordon

How is that going to work?

Will Smart pout he will have to come off the bench?

I dread the thought of end of game lineup of AG, Tatum, Brown, Smart, Walker.    I much prefer to have a center

Per source: Celtics talks with Orlando re: Aaron Gordon "still alive, but everyone does everything at last minute." Celtics offering first round pick and a young player - not Marcus Smart - and are trying not to include second pick in the deal
.

My guess its either Nesmith or Langford
that'd be my guess but I'd much prefer GWill going out instead

Magic much prefer Langford or Nesmith  8)

GWilliams is the Scalabraine of todays NBA.  Low value

I am sure Ainge would prefer to trade Williams. Unfortunately teams get to watch the C’s play and realize Williams has limited upside.

Thompson, Nesmith, and someone on a minimum preserves the Hayward TPE.  Grant instead of Nesmith means we have to use the TPE.  I think Ainge would trade Nesmith instead of Grant to keep the full TPE.

I wonder if Danny held out Romeo for the purpose to not showcase him.  Make teams ponder about his injuries

Danny has spoken highly of Langford

But I wonder sometimes if he is made of glass.  .

Romeo caught Covid, he's not being held out. Him being sick has hurt his value more than helped.

Ok

But if given the choice, Danny probably prefers to hold onto Romeo

Probably.

Romeo looked playable in playoff games, Neismith has looked lost when he's gotten burn. But I don't think the C's would fight too hard for one over the other.

Hopefully, it doesn't turn into another Joe Johnson/Kedrick Brown situation.

Also, good to see you, Faf.

Clarification on previous tweet. Celtics hope not to include a second FIRST round pick in their offer (first rounder, young player) for Aaron Gordon.

Magic balk and want the 2nd 1st

Its either there or not... there is no "hope"

Scal's recent videos playing against those average Joes should boost that value then ;)

I'd prefer GWill going out over Romeo or Nesmith because I think those 2 have a higher ceiling and Gordon would hopefully take all of GWill's minutes.  I never get my wishes in that regard so GWill's likely not that player to be included

Woj says Aaron Gordon made his trade request weeks ago, but recently has had some second thoughts about leaving Orlando.

Greed by teams and now coupled with AG indecisiveness

Worst kind of trade soup there is
