I seriously would not be sad to see Tatum gone at the deadline. I think he was who Jaylen was "No commenting" about. I think he is why Brad has "lost the locker room," because the team is affected by what the star does. And it's not Brad's fault that Tatum is selfish on the court. He's more Melo than Mamba. at this point I WISH he was more like Kobe his hero. I seriously hate watching him play now.

I think some of this is exaggerated, but Tatum's issues are primarily on the coaching staff and team as a whole not properly developing him and instilling discipline and accountability in him. He gets away with his crap because he's always got away with it because there's no leadership on this team.

Tatum has not earned the privilege he has been given on this team. No more excuses.

I imagine even the rookies hate the veterans play right now. The rookies have been battle tested in college, they know how to fight the game until the end. They know something is wrong, and they look up to Brad to sort this out.

Until, nothing happens.

Its because these guys have $$$, endorsements etc locked up

500k per game to lose like this....  its just

The amount of disrespect that a 5 year vet and All-Star, Jaylen Brown, gets from the refs, at drives to the rim, is astonishing. He is getting contact all the time that is ignored. He should be at the line 7-10 times a game but never gets the calls at the basket. Crazy.

The problem is that both Brown and Tatum are soft. When driving to the basket they always try to avoid physical contacts, so any contact is always minimal and not seen as a clear foul by the refs.

They need to be more assertive driving to the basket and once they establish the reputation  the refs will give the call to them every time.
This is more right for Tatum and wrong for Brown. Brown creates ton of body contact on his drives, that, if he were an established star, he would be getting sent to the line all the time for.

Tatum, yeah, he avoids inside contact like it's the plague, all while being patently obvious in his off hand push offs that gets him call for an offensive foul a ton.

To be honest, Tatum, Walker are playing like they want to be traded at this rate

Danny is right there in the stands watching. And there is no ounce of fight or taking care of possessions

where is the "fight"??

I don't care if the team loses, but you can't get outworked by a short rookie on defense (Pritchard)

They should be embarrassed

Tatum and Walker are getting paid max money either way, Pritchard is fighting for his NBA life. It's disappointing, but I'm sure that is a factor that we can't ignore.

It's clear PP knows how to play winning basketball. It must be so frustrating to be sidelined on the court and on the bench in crunch time knowing he could execute better and help the team win. And play better defense - his stop and steal on Barnes was beautiful. If he was given Kemba's green light and role this team would be well over .500. Sad.

I saw Tatum's Subway ad and was inspired to get a subway sandwich late tonight

But they said they don't deliver around closing time.

What has happened to Smart's defense?  Fox embarrassed him multiple times.  He plays no where near the level of the last two seasons.  I guess he still is working himself back into shape, but man does he look heavy footed out there.

Come on Danny.  Send a strong signal to the team and ship Smart out for Barnes.

Thats not strong and Kings hang up the phone

Strong signal would be to bench the starters for role players at the start of the game

Cs need to be big time sellers at the deadline. Theis/TT/Smart/Kemba should all be the on the block.

Well, I guess it can't get any worse. Not really interested in getting more young players in the draft so tanking is out.

We already tried to trade Tatum for Davis, so no go there.

Stevens passed on the IU job, Smart looks awful and Walker is very streaky.

When the team is behind, the J's kind of look worse...hero ballish.

Pritchard and Robert look aok. Theis has been good.

Hawks, Kings, Cav's have their number.

Walker, Tatum and Brown just don't play that well together. In the bubble these guys were unstoppable, they ran everybody out of the gym...now they can't even get to the gym.

Get a lot of joy out of watching Robert though. They have him taking jumpers here and there. Other teams are a little bit more leery about attacking him on defense, he still screws up, but makes up for it.

How were they 48-24 in the bubble season? It wasn't Hayward he missed 20 some games.

Stevens has 14 coaches watching all of this and the team is awful...can't we just fire all of them?

You forgot consideration for Tatum

Why does he get the easy ticket out when his play flat out stinks?

Tatum is the sacred cow, Tr1boy. He's the future first team all NBA, League MVP, you can't possibly consider trading him. How dare you.

 It's Danny's fault. It's Brad's fault. It's because we don't have a good bench.  LOL.

The guy who cut through all the noise was Mike Gorman when he told the truth, and probably was told to shut up, because he hasn't brought it up since.
