Tatum has become one of the most selfish, overrated players in NBA.
I second this.

It's because he has no leadership to hold him accountable. This is one of the reasons I think a coaching change is imperative, because our young guys have been allowed - if not encouraged with Brad's atrocious offensive philosophy - to play this way and heavily focus on iso, individual ball. They've created awful habits and a playing style that is going to be hard to break.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Brown Tatum on the trade block.  We need team players.  These two have too inflated heads for their own good and to the teams detriment.

The amount of disrespect that a 5 year vet and All-Star, Jaylen Brown, gets from the refs, at drives to the rim, is astonishing. He is getting contact all the time that is ignored. He should be at the line 7-10 times a game but never gets the calls at the basket. Crazy.

The problem is that both Brown and Tatum are soft. When driving to the basket they always try to avoid physical contacts, so any contact is always minimal and not seen as a clear foul by the refs.

They need to be more assertive driving to the basket and once they establish the reputation  the refs will give the call to them every time.

The Cavs and Kings both held on and pulled out wins against this team...

In other words they’re playing like a 12 win team

The reason we keep losing at the end is because the "Starts" come back in. That's why we start off bad too.

Bench shot 3-4 from 3 and 10-18 over all. MAYBE THEY NEED MORE SHOTS...

On to the next game. More of the same.

Only player in this game with a +.... Pritchard.... Glad Brad yanked him out while the game was winnable.

Payton should have been in the game the last 5 min.

I've never seen the Cs give up like they did tonight.

This team needs a makeover.

Why? They’re locked in.

Brad doesn't care about winning. He's just scared of making Kemba feel bad.

I seriously would not be sad to see Tatum gone at the deadline. I think he was who Jaylen was "No commenting" about. I think he is why Brad has "lost the locker room," because the team is affected by what the star does. And it's not Brad's fault that Tatum is selfish on the court. He's more Melo than Mamba. at this point I WISH he was more like Kobe his hero. I seriously hate watching him play now.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
I look at this team a lot like the Sixers last year; a team that gets a ton of hype before the season start that isn't really earned but sputters along because the pieces really don't fit. The light at the end of the tunnel is there, just probably not this season.

First and foremost, Danny has to decide what this team is - are we developing young talent or are we trying to compete? And then he needs to commit wholeheartedly to shaping that team without sentimentality. If we're trying to compete with Brown and Tatum, actually put pieces around them to 1.) compliment their skillsets and 2.) makes up for the shortcomings. That means trimming the fat in players who don't fit that mold to add playmakers and guys that can hit open shots. If he wants to kick the can down the road yet again, then get rid of the pricey vets and plays the kids.
