Bears gonna Bears. Knew they were gonna choke. They left too much time on the clock and defense kept doing dumb things penalizing them.

1:00 games went as well as could have hoped with exception of the Bears choke at the end.

KC appears to be having their way v Dallas.

But totally amazing that Pats are in the thick of the hunt for a bye.

Whether you agree with the new emphasis on calling taunting penalties, one thing is clear: There are many NFL players who just don't get it. Clyde Edwards-Helaire just pointed at the nearest Cowboys defender as he waltzed into the end zone and, of course, was penalized for taunting. What is so hard for these guys to understand? Or do they just not care?

Does any that was piling dirt on Bill B earlier in this thread want to wipe the egg of their face? Currently leading division and third seed in east with a rookie quarterback.

Defense is humming, that’s for sure.  Still not sold on the offense, though. Didn’t look so good against the Falcons. Next two games should be good tests.

To be fair though, some of these guys are literally getting called for taunting even when they aren't actually doing anything directed towards the opposing sideline or player (ex. Cassius Marsh in the Steelers-Bears game). The refs are literally just picking and choosing what they think looks "unsportsmanlike" and are calling it. Zero consistency.

I thought Marsh was an obvious call. He made a good play, then walked toward the opponent's sideline and stood there staring at them. Seemed clear to me what he was doing.

I’m not trying to say they will make the super bowl, but he is one of the best coaches in the history of the game. I’m not gonna pull up individual posters cause that is not the point, but those questioning his legacy and standing in history after 20 years of unparalleled dominance were mind blowingly bad hot takes.

There were those that question his coaching because Bill had Brady, but those that also questioned his GM capabilities. Bill is one of the best coaches and GMs ever. He first off, remakes his team every year with massive turnover year to year and yet competed for a title every year. Then he took those remade teams every year as a coach and made teams dominate.

He is going into the Hall twice. Once as a coach and once as a GM.

I'm so glad the Pats have decent coaching. MY GOD that Bears-Lions game was brutal to watch. Coaching was really bad from both sides and the Lions coaching staff were flat out terrible those final 2-3 minutes. Calling 2 timeouts back-to-back which led to a penalty, and also on 3rd and 4 there why on earth are all the DBs playing 10 yards back??

Anyways, hope the Saints can help us and beat the Bills tonight!

Matt Nagy should have been fired years ago.  He's wasted quite a bit of talent in Chicago.

I admittedly haven't watched or followed the Bears that much but has he really been that bad? Felt like just a few years ago people were calling him an elite coach lol.

Some people seem to think though that the biggest issue with the Bears is their ownership. Like, they tend to meddle in the team affairs and that's why you typically see Nagy going back and forth with Dalton and Fields this season in their usage (no real plan). It's because ownership tells him "play Fields and start the future young QB now" and then Fields either gets hurt or doesn't look ready at times
