It's hilarious to me that Meyers has now played with Brady, Newton, Mac Jones... and his first TD reception came from a pass from Brian Hoyer (Hoyer the Destroyer!)

And yeah, the Pats keep on improving and they look great. I think they are a true dark horse in the AFC.

I'm not talking 1 or 2 seed or anything like that but they are absolutely in the AFC East race (even though I still think BUF wins that) and it's hard to not see them making the playoffs. Having wins over the Chargers AND Browns head-to-head could be key too if it comes down to tiebreakers.

AFC to me is wide open. Titans still look great and should cruise to a 1 seed at this rate, but how many people are actually confident that Tannehill can put them over the edge for sure in January (especially if Henry isn't able to come back)? It's not like the Titans are unbeatable, and there's no AFC team like that either, not even KC nowadays.

I mean if I had to rank the Top-5 in the entire NFL, I'd probably have 4 NFC Teams and 1 AFC (Titans). NFC is pretty top-heavy but also loaded. AFC is literally "any given Sunday" for everyone lol

The Pats having two games left vs the Bills makes things very interesting.  So exciting to see them develop like this.

Pats need to take care of Atlanta (who got crushed today) on Thursday.   Pats follow the Falcons with Tennessee and Buffalo in Weeks 12 and 13.

You realize Cam Newton isn't actually starting or playing much today right? It's Walker and Cam has only been called for a few plays (one of them was a TD)  :P

For sure. I still think Buffalo wins the division (I'd say odds are 65% BUF, 35% NE, maybe <1% MIA).

But NE is playing like a playoff team and it's hard to see them not making it at least as a 6 or 7 seed.

With the win today, the Pats now have ~70% chance to make the playoffs. Falcons could be a trap game with it being on the road and with a short week, but win that and I think the Pats are in a fantastic spot if we're simply talking playoffs.

If they want to win the division, I think there's two paths. The first being win both against BUF, but I doubt they will and I think that'll be a split (so basically, "a wash" there). The second is, NE will need another signature win (against Titans) or need to hope BUF has another stinker somewhere like they did last week against JAX.

Watching GB and Seattle.  Kind of amazing that between Rodgers and Wilson they've been to only 3 SBs and won 2.   Wilson hasn't been there since Butler picked him 7 years ago.  Rodgers not since 2010 season.

Makes sense, was looking at the box score and highlight and wondering why PJ Walker's in. Still they should keep Newton in lol

Is there any doubt that Belichick's way of bringing along Mac Jones wasn't 100% the right way. Jones isn't playing like a rookie and his continued developing ability to read defenses and check out of plays and into successful audibles is rather amazing given his age and experience.

What do you mean ‘wasn’t the right way’. Are you arguing for or against the manner in which he has been developed? I don’t think anyone can argue with his development.
For. There were others earlier in the season arguing that the Pats we're being to conservative in his development. I thought the way others wanted him developed rather dumb

If he continues like this, it just adds to the genius of Belichick.
Completely agree. TP

TP for recognizing the smart choice to bring the qb on slowly. Many a promising Qb career has been mishandled over the years.

Metcalf should be ejected….and he has been ejected. LoL he was ejected as I was about to post.

Shouldn’t he have been escorted to the locker room? He actually tried to get back in the game after ejection.  The refs threw him out, but I think they should have let them run the play and call ineligible player penalty..15 yards and loss of down.  lol

The 8-1 Cardinals got blown out by the Panthers today lol. Maybe a good thing the Pats got Darnold last week instead of Walker, eh?  :P

This Chiefs-Raiders game tonight feels huge. Not just for those teams and the AFC West, but the AFC in general. Also affects the Pats in terms of seeding in the playoff picture.

Chargers lost so I think at the moment the Pats are ahead of them in the standings (and also have the head-to-head tiebreaker if needed)

Cardinals were down to Chris Streveler, but yeah Cardinals should start getting used to losing games.

Hopefully Raiders pull the W.

How 'bout Matthew Judon, wrecking havoc today. Devoured Mayfield and Keenum. Could be our very own Von Miller-type player we needed
