I feel like we've played so many back-to-backs so far this season. Not using it as a complete excuse, but I don't think it can be ignored either. And what complicates matters is that Kemba's already ruled out for the 2nd nights of back-to-backs, so when you have another injury like Marcus Smart currently, it just makes it 10x tougher to win 2 nights in a row.
Basically, this team can thrive with Jaylen, Tatum and even 1 of Kemba/Smart. If both Kemba and Smart are out, they just struggle and the Jays need to go superhuman mode to win games.
I am encouraged with Nesmith though, and I think we have something with Nesmith, Pritchard and Timelord off the bench. BUT we still need at least one more guy to help, preferably a PF. Because G-Will has been bad this season and idk if they have enough behind Theis/Thompson.
At the end of the day, I think this team can be successful, but it will literally require them to be fully healthy which frankly with our luck is probably unlikely. Danny will also need to make a trade ideally for a playmaking SF or legit PF. Or at the very least, a quality bench addition that's better than Teague and some of the others. This team can play against the top dogs as evident in the Denver game, but health and depth are the key, and also a bit of a concern for this current C's team.
