I missed last night’s game and watched this debacle.  I have to remind myself to watch the first night of back to backs and skip the second night

Watch against the good teams and not the bad ones.

Frustrating loss.

C's look tired too.

Not as tired as me. Are we going to have a game plan for Young on Friday?

Not impressed with Collins. He wasn’t bad, but for a guy that thinks he’s a max player.... ???

20 points on 9 shots.

Think he had 4FT’s in the last 2 Mins. Only 6 boards....seemed to be average defensively. I was more impressed with Capelas 24pts and 13Reb.
I’d rather have Capela

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Hey Brad - let’s draw up that play will GW catches the pass ans tries to hand off to JT and ends up getting fouled only to brick bith free throws

Hahaha-I didn't notice this paly at the end of the game so really have no idea what ur talking about... But it's hilarious that now players missing free throws is the coach's fault

This team is so painful to watch. They play tired and discouraged.

Celts need to bring Tatum and Brown's minutes down. We are not winning a title this season and that's all that should matter.
Don't put so many miles on the J's legs while we are still trying to piece together a legitimate contender.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

We could have had him for pennies on the dollar last season but "flexibility"  >:( >:( >:(

Stevens has to make better adjustments during the game.

In the post interview Brad mentioned how they attempted several strategies to slow down the Hawks/Trae’s offense; except he never mentioned targeting him and forcing him to play defense. If you make Trae play defense against Jayson and Jaylen, he will not be as fresh as he was tonight in the 4th.

Opposing teams try to hide their star players on weaker offensive players because they don’t want their star players taxed on both ends (not necessarily because they’re bad defensive players). Plain and simple, the game:

Also, Brad has to adjust certain aspects of his system that are flawed against uptempo offenses. It’s excellent for the playoffs when the energy and focus is consistently there to force the opposing team to play strictly half court offense, but not for the regular season when these uptempo teams are getting out in transition, scoring easily, then forcing our team to play against a set defense.

Exactly

Brad should have picked on Young.  Let him off too easily

Why does Pritchard have to slowly walk the ball up and stop at the top of the 3 point circle on every possession? Pritchard is super fast with the ball in his hands but never pushes it.

I feel like we've played so many back-to-backs so far this season. Not using it as a complete excuse, but I don't think it can be ignored either. And what complicates matters is that Kemba's already ruled out for the 2nd nights of back-to-backs, so when you have another injury like Marcus Smart currently, it just makes it 10x tougher to win 2 nights in a row.

Basically, this team can thrive with Jaylen, Tatum and even 1 of Kemba/Smart. If both Kemba and Smart are out, they just struggle and the Jays need to go superhuman mode to win games.

I am encouraged with Nesmith though, and I think we have something with Nesmith, Pritchard and Timelord off the bench. BUT we still need at least one more guy to help, preferably a PF. Because G-Will has been bad this season and idk if they have enough behind Theis/Thompson.

At the end of the day, I think this team can be successful, but it will literally require them to be fully healthy which frankly with our luck is probably unlikely. Danny will also need to make a trade ideally for a playmaking SF or legit PF. Or at the very least, a quality bench addition that's better than Teague and some of the others. This team can play against the top dogs as evident in the Denver game, but health and depth are the key, and also a bit of a concern for this current C's team.

True. I would also like to never see TT covering Young again one on one. If you see that a bunch next game it'll mean the same thing.

We need a quick defense guard to guard the Tre Young's of the world. I wish we have Yam over here instead of Teague.

Ainge preferred vet over rookie.  Error

Yam would be 10 times better

I can't think of a player that would be worse than Teague at this point. I would have rather seen Waters out there on young but I would've been happier to see Edwards on the floor over Teague.
