Go Celts! Not expecting much but I can hope they put two good efforts in a row. Someone thinks they should play Waters? That has to be a joke right? Well I guess he may have to play with Smart & Kemba out but man he is awful.
Waters isn't as bad as you say he is.

I would like to see Waters get some run guarding Young. For all his flaws Waters is a defensive menace!

You’re kidding, right? I’m pretty sure that’s his worst skill. He’s like 5’10” in shoes. shooting stroke looks decent, though.. Are you the one that also wanted to see Tacko guard Jokic tonight lol.

Tremont Waters was the SEC Defensive Player of The Year in 2019.

Oh, well that changes everything. Brad should probably have Waters alternate between guarding Collins and Tre Young. If we can slow those two down, should be in pretty good shape for this game.

Waters has a lot of warts to his game but he's a defensive pest.

Waters really doesn't have alot of warts to his game. He has one wart: his size. He's a good player.
i do not agree. waters has some talents, steals and passing are among them. but....

per 36 (his minutes are too small to do per game) he averages 4.8 turnovers in his career, and 5.2 this season.  :o

he shoots 19.4% from 3 point land for his career. that is not a typo. but he has improved to 25% this season.

his career 2 point shooting % is 32.5% for his career and 20% this season.

oh, and thanks FLC for the thread. a tp for your great work....

goooooooooooooooooooooooo celtics...including waters!!!!!  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Except he’s a bad shooter, makes really bad decisions shooting and passing, turns it over a lot and gets abused in switches. Lots of warts.

Gets a lot of steals and can make some nice passes occasionally. Tries way too hard though

Waters isn't great, but he's quick, has good hands and defensive instincts.
Young could be a relatively good match-up for him.

I understand the suggestion by Liam, because I also think that Teague will have more problems keeping Young in front of him.

Green is going start at the point, that's interesting. Why wouldn't Pritchard start?

Collins looks smaller than Tatum. I thought he was bigger than he is.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Was thinking the same exact thing.
