If we are going to move Kemba, we ought to send him to his hometown so there are no bad feelings. We need depth. Here is one way to get what we need:

To BOS: Haliburton (competition for Pritchard, potential replacement for Smart, only 21), Barnes (championship experience, good shooter, amazingly only 28 years old), Randle (good rebounder, just turned 26)

To SAC: Langford, G. Williams, Teague, ‘21 DAL 1st, ‘21 BOS 1st, ‘23 BOS 1st

To NYK: Walker, Edwards

Or even take Teague off and make it happen now:

Look at the depth and youth now rather than two picks in the 20s in 2021 and 2023:

Smart/Pritchard
Brown/Haliburton
Barnes/Theis/Nesmith
Tatum/Randle/Ojeyele
TT/R. Williams

And the Hayward TPE is still available for one more piece (fingers crossed for a Kawhi S&T). Plus, Theis and Ojeyele become expendable in the off-season.

Constructively, I’d point out that trades need to work out for all teams.

We wind up with the two best players, and by far the best prospect.

Of course everyone on this blog would love this trade... but NY probably say no, and Sacto laugh you out of the building.

They’ve got Fox, they’re dumping salary, and they’re getting three first-round picks along with Langford and G. Williams. Heck, throw in the ‘25 1st if necessary and some of our second-round picks.

Isn’t that how every proposed trade on this site goes? Lol...

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

So what if they have Fox? They want to pair up those guys together. They are the back court of the future in Sacramento. If anyone is out, it is Buddy Hield.

Not sure if you are being serious about Langford and G Williams. Those guys aren’t worth anything right now.

I’m not sure Thibs would be on board with adding Kemba. He’s a defensive minded coach.

I'd certainly argue Kemba vs Barnes, but hey, that result sounds good to me ;D

Can't see the Kings having any interest in this trade. Here's a similar idea.

Feel free to throw in pick(s) if you deem it necessary. Still don't think the Kings would pull the trigger, but you never know. At the very least, it seems like a more balanced trade.

If we exclude Timelord and swap Haliburton with Bagley, we may have ourselves a deal. Personally speaking, I believe Bagley will be a bust, hence I wouldn't do that deal. But maybe that's just me.

Kemba is easily the best player in the deal, but no way SAC does this deal. They have this year's Herro and there is no way they are letting him go. Way more likely to deal Buddy and start Hali at SG than get rid of him. All of us on draft night who were devastated when he was chosen just before us were right. Come on Nesmith, please be good...
