Dude is even dodging questions on obvious major issues with our team that he has been helpless to solve for seasons now.
Yikes

I think the Brad hating is pretty crazy in this thread. If you watched his postgame press conference he basically said that wasn’t the shot they wanted from Tatum, and also was trying to say that the season is just beginning when he answered the 3rd quarter question.

I’m not ready to can Brad after 3 games...

I am!

It’s also not just based on this season. Cumulative thing over multiple years of weird amateurish moves

It was kind of the opposite kinda game for Smart tonight. I didn’t notice him having crazy Marcus Smart type plays as much but his box score was good.

While Brad doesn’t have super power for sure I am not sure what most on here expect from the team given the talent collection ... It’s more on Danny than Brad

I think we’re overrating how much of a difference Brad can make on a game to game basis.

He’s been at the helm as Tatum, Brown, and Smart have taken gigantic leaps in their NBA ability and had led the team to deep playoff runs consistently with a roster that always was less talented (minus last year in the bubble, when they would have lost to LAL anyway).

Not sure what Brad could have done better to compensate for the crap 3rd quarter — he went to the bench early and benched Theis the rest of the game!

I love Brad. He has a young team with a lot to manage. I second guess him all the time. Not bringing Pritchard back when we couldn’t score in the third was odd. But I’m als o sure he has his. Reasons. This team with Kemba out was always going to be a project. If the Nets didn’t have Durant they wouldn’t look so good and they still lost to the Hornets tonight. It’s a long year with a quick restart and no training camp for rookies or young players. We are right we’re I thought we’d be after three games. I thought we’d loose to the Bucks and beat Indiana but we are still 1-2 we’re I thought we’d be. It’s the same records as the Bucks have. The Cavs are 3-0 so it’s going to be a weird season.

Tatum takes the blame for that last shot:

Young players have to learn.

Better now than in the playoffs. Like Jaylen said, this is a work in progress.

It really is. This is a whole new team this year. A lot of moving parts.

I think Brad needs another shooter in that starting line up. I’d add Prichard and subtract Theis. As much as I like the two bigs, one of them needs to be a shooter and that’s just not the case.

Pritchard
Smart
Brown
Tatum
Thompson

I saw this...

I mean he also stated several times he needs to involve his teammates more. But doesnt pass in the 2nd half

Ideally want to see

Pritchard
Brown
Nesmith
Tatum
Thompson

Get Pritchard and Nesmith going like how they do it in Miami with their sharpshooters
