Lol, once again, SHOCKING end to the game. Worked against the Bucks off a flukey shot, so why not try again?

Officially done with Brad. He can go suck eggs

JT was lucky the first time.
.hell no this time.

He should learn from Pierce..Paul would probably shoot a more respectable 15 foot fade away which was his patent move...but a 36 ft shot on a 1 point game is I think so wrong.

I doubt that was the play Steven's drew up. Is Tatum gun shy of driving to the rim now to try to win the game (the Bam effect)?

I don’t care why anyone says. Stevens is a trash coach and is holding this team back. That’s the best play you can come up with?!?!? ****H.

I’m willing to bet that wasn’t the play Brad drew up

If so, that's even worse, as that would mean that his young star doesn't even respect him enough to honor his play calls. Too soft either way. Time to go.

Yeah bad look either way, though I bet he’ll say that the Pacers took away the play and that Tatum was forced to take the shot or something like that

It’s still very early in the season but Cs are a lucky bank shot from being 0-3. They have not looked good to start the year.

That is a VERY Brad thing to say indeed.

Team lost its best passer Hayward, hasn't replaced that part of his game and it shows. Still not enough shooting. To me this is all on Ainge.

There is no universe where this shot is acceptable.

Thanks.

For those saying that wasn't what Brad drew up - what DID he draw up then?  I watched the game on a crappy stream so maybe I missed something.  I saw three Celtics standing around the 3 point line, and one Celtic set a "screen" (a lazy misdirection) which didn't serve any real purpose.  Tatum had the ball at the same spot the entire time and settled for a terrible 3.

What was the play?

There is zero chance that in 3 recent games down by 1 (MIA game 1 ECF,  MIL, and IND), the play Brad calls up is a prayer 3 by Tatum. I have high hopes for Tatum, but guy thinks a lot more highly of himself than he should. Plays with absolutely no fire. He knew was a superstar when he entered the league and that's exactly how he plays. I would give the ball to anybody but Tatum at the ends of games. Pritchard, for instance, would have gotten a much better look either by passing or creating for himself. Obviously Tatum refuses to do it. I do not put this on Brad - except for the fact that his best player does not care to follow his direction.

Gotta appreciate the fight but this team is missing killer instincts.  Go get harden.  Shoot at this point it may be time for Tatum to go.

Regardless of that final shot, Cs lost this game in the third quarter. They won every other quarter...

And as frustrating as some of the offense was, the defense (especially from the bench) is a major problem. It was a layup line.

Also, someone explain to me why Grant Williams is in the game with 8 seconds left in the game? Basically allowed Sabonis to get the easy score?
