Lol. Grant checking Embiid and he shot a 3.
When does Morey say to Houston - let's do Embid for Harden?  Were I him, I'd do it tonight.
When he has a brain aneurysm.  Simmons is the issue.  Fights that hard for post position and all he does is kick it out to Embiid for a 3?
I agree. I actually think that team is a problem with Harden and Embiid. That's a poor man's Kobe and Shaq
That's my thinking.  Embiid really played well with Redick.  Teams had to respect Redick's shooting.  Harden's obviously at a different level.

Of course, the Sixers would like to wait Houston out to get them to take a deal without Simmons.

Interesting that we're still going with the main guys in the second half. Hopefully we still see Nesmith.

That is an INSANE steal by Smart. What a beauty of a defensive possession.

Someone tell Smart it's just a preseason game.

Tatum and Brown putting up a ton of bricks tonight
Meh. It's the 1st preseason minutes of basketball. None of this matters. Even Stevens said on TNT the one thing he wants out of this game is good film. That's it.

So if the shots are good shots, that's good film. If the team plays the right defense, that's good film. The results of those shots or those defensive sets don't matter so long as things are done right.

And if the team isn't doing things the right way, that's good film too. Again, results don't matter. It's whether the team is doing what they are being coached to do that matters.

and the excuses begin.....until they are sent out of the playoffs it will be one excuse or the other.

I mean it’s the first preseason game... obviously it would be great if their shots were falling but the Js should be the least of everyone’s concerns.

you are right they are playing true to their ranking as the fifth team in the EAST.

So if the shots were falling and they were winning would you still say that? What if they end up winning this preseason game (wven once both team’s starters are taken out)?

You can’t take anything from this...

4 for 21 from the Jays and we're down 6. So what can I take from this game?

NOTHING.... Cs are the fifth ranked team in the east. They need a tougher coach.

That's a cheap offensive foul call on Brown.

I’d like to see Jaylen looking to set up other players more. That’s his growth skill this year. Not seeing it yet. Tatum, too, honestly.
