Rockets look surprisingly adequate against Portland so far. It seems like harden is arguing with a teammate after every basket for the blazers
Christian Wood is legit. 31 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists on 14-22 from the floor in his regular season debut for the Rockets.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9udZ11PozBMWe should have signed Wood instead of Thompson. Could have easily beaten Houston's offer of Ariza + Isaiah Stewart (#16) + future second. I realize that Danny's priority was to keep Hayward, in which case it was practically impossible to target Wood. What bothers me is that we didn't have a backup plan. Danny knew that Hayward was planning to walk. We should have instantly targeted Christian Wood. The timing wasn't ideal, but he was definitely a realistic target. Too late now. Wood can't be traded till February 5. By then he'll be practically untouchable. At the very least, he won't be a bargain anymore.

Check out the plays at 0:31, 1:02, 1:11 and 1:30 of the video (especially the ones at 1:30 and 1:02). How many Centers around the NBA can do that? Not many, that's for sure. Certainly no one from our current roster.
