Dang, we should be able to get someone pretty good for our MLE then... right? Reigning 6MOTY in Harrell & Wood both going for MLE

Thing is, so much rides on the Hayward situation that we don't realistically know the exact needs until that situation is resolved. That's one aspect that works against Danny right now, and the longer it goes the more FAs get picked up.

Gary Washburn tweeted that Hayward told Celtics he wants to play in Indiana. IND offering Turner and McDermott. But Boston wants Turner/Warren or Turner/Oladipo.

Gonna be interesting
If Danny really thinks that pacers are trying to fleece him just waive Hayward ... embarrassing 🙈

Klutch sports is a problem in the NBA. When it only exists because of James and it’s only function is to make sure James gets the best players, it is a joke.

Luckily, we only got two or three more years of having to deal with Lebron before he retires.... until he buys a team and starts a new era of Klutch exploitation.  >:(

I completely agree. I think Danny is missing the big picture here... what is the point to gain some marginally better deal but miss out on the the mle free agents

Is McDermott actually able to get real playoff minutes?  I found Indy too boring to watch consistently this season

His TS% was 33% in the 2020 playoffs. He has no other strengths, so it was a disaster.

lakers going back to back.

Don't how see how Matthews, Schroeder, and Harrell is that much of an upgrade over Rondo, Bradley, and Howard, especially with another year on Lebron's legs.

Same thing happened with the Lakers last off season when Kawhi was playing his games.  Ainge needs to give Indy and Hayward a relatively soon deadline and then move on if it doesn't get done.

By the time Hayward decides to go to the Knicks and Boston has the full MLE, nobody going to be there.

Danny needs to get this done. He is most likely arguing over picks or something stupid

Expected to stay in BKN, but didn't think it'd be at that much.

You forgot Danny Green on that outgoing list, too. I am sure they will pick up a couple of decent vet min guys, but you aren't wrong. It really all comes down to Harrell, though.
