I am going to offer a different take, based on no more than the takes presented above. Durability may well be an issue for Langford but at this point, it is way to early to give up on him. He just turned 21 at the end of October.
When he did play last season, his rookie season, and coming off, yes, injury (meaning not full participation is training camp), he played well and showed he is a NBA talent. I am not giving up on Romeo but the clock is ticking. This season is not make or break for him though. There is still opportunity to be patient. He has shown enough to warrant some patience.
FWIW, this injury is his right wrist. The previous injury was his right thumb. Not sure if there is a medical connection or if these are completely different.
