I love oubre jr. Can’t believe they gave up on him, he totally fitted with the suns.

what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

I think this is a great trade for the Suns (albeit a surprising one). You can’t rebuild forever and bringing in a wiley vet to team your youngsters how to train, play, and carry themselves is a huge plus. They think Booker and Ayton are ready to sniff the playoffs so why not bring in a leader like CP3 to push them further.

Admittedly I’m not a CP3 fan but he’s miles better than Rubio (and I’m a Rubio fan). Losing Oubre is upsetting for them but they payoff is CP3 which is a move you make 10 out of 10 times.

He's going there for Leadership purposes - and even in his latter years he is STILL a top PG.

He's going to help PHX big-time.

He's been a top player for a LONG time, a winner, and a leader off the court, as well.

Love this move for PHX in many ways.

Look for the budding Ayton to get MANY easy looks as well - making the Big Man VERY happy.

Ha, another example where a free agent signing has been traded within a year.
Weird moves by Phoenix as usual. Last year they gave up a first rounder to trade away TJ Warren to create the cap room to sign Ricky Rubio and now they trade him away for essentially a bad contract.
