If I'm Nick Nurse I'd have a very short leash on Gasol.  Ibaka has been a far better player this entire series and I'd give him the majority of the 3rd and 4th quarter minutes, winning or losing.

Smart ran through those two with such momentum it looked like a soccer of football play and not a basketball play.

I'd like to point out that we're 16/26 inside the arc right now.  And most of the threes that we've bricked have been open looks.  We're also doing a better job of taking care of the ball so far.

Toronto's defense isn't doing much to stop us outside of taking Kemba away.  We just need to hit our shots.

Kenny Smith will make a good basketball coach.

Let's hope Nurse plays Gasol the entire 3rd and 4th quarter

I imagine that Raptors fans are chewing into Siakam like we are into Kemba.  The difference certainly is that Kemba is more skilled.

Siakam's game has really been exposed this series after he had a great regular season.  Stick a solid defender on him where he has to work to bully his way to the basket and he doesn't have the finesse or skill to consistently put up large point totals efficiently.  He's a good player but he's no star.
Siakam is a fraud that stole a huge contract from Toronto.

The million dollar question is, should Toronto offer FVV a max contract after his impressive showing in this series?

Huge 3rd quarter. It'd be nice if we could start strong and pull away.

It would be because I can't do another game like game 6.

We all know this one's going down to the last shot of the game.

Just Say No!

NO, NO, NO......

Nurse is thinking of putting blinking lights on his pink shirt to distract the Celts while he steps onto the court in the fourth...

We've been getting wide open shots. We just need to hit them. It looked like the shots were finally falling for is at the end of the half, so we need to keep it up.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Can't believe we blew a 12 point lead in the 1st in an instant, but TOR did the same thing in the 2nd. Huge half by Smart; Jaylen with some misses from 3, but he came up big in transition; Tatum needs to settle down and stop with both his fall-away 20 footers and throwing the ball at the backboard from outside trying to get a call.

3rd quarters haven't been our friend, but if we can keep playing D like we have, then the shots will eventually start to fall. Let's Go!!!

easier said than done.... take the ball to the hoop.

No way. Dude really hasn't been that good. Anyone who offers VanFleet a max will regret it.

If Smart can pull another "make 5 3s in a row" move, I'd take it

FVV getting to the rim over Tatum is maddening. Tatum can't even back the guy down on the otherside smh
Tatum has a weak base that let's him get pushed around by 6'0" guards.
Needs to start squatting and deadlifting

Yeah, how Gasol continues to play this much is beyond me.

Granted, Ibaka is also like 35 and has played a ton of minutes in his career, so some of that may be to keep him fresh.
