Man, I'll take the lead but we need to hit some threes.  Almost all of these are wide open and we just aren't knocking them down.

This is the scary thing about the three point era.  Everybody is so streaky, and we've put ourselves in a situation where an abnormal hot or cold streak can end the series one way or the other.

I imagine that Raptors fans are chewing into Siakam like we are into Kemba.  The difference certainly is that Kemba is more skilled.

Siakam's game has really been exposed this series after he had a great regular season.  Stick a solid defender on him where he has to work to bully his way to the basket and he doesn't have the finesse or skill to consistently put up large point totals efficiently.  He's a good player but he's no star.

Give credit to Jaylen for his defense on Siakam this series.

Lead by 4 at the half. We've seen this before. The C's need to keep killing them and don't let up.

Nice to see Kemba make some shots late in the 2nd.  More importantly, the Celtics need him to be assertive even if he isn't always making the "right" basketball play.  Kemba can unlock the entire offense and lift his teammates up with a hot stretch.  I trust him to not shoot us out of a game.  Let's hope for an aggressive 3rd quarter.

Siakam is a fraud that stole a huge contract from Toronto.

Huge 3rd quarter coming up. It'd be nice if we could start strong and pull away.

He was good when Kawhi was there.

Was that so hard Kemba

It's a lot easier for Kemba to get open shots in transition when they are man to man. That's where he needs to take advantage. In the halfcourt he needs to be a better job being a decoy and feinting the zone away from the seams so our wings can get open shots.

In any case we've had a lot of open shots they've just missed...I will take those open shots all day. What I can't stand is defensive breakdowns where people don't run back and where they take bad shots and then overcompensate by trying to get a rebound that they can't get because they know it was a bad shot, and they are not in position in transition and we give up an easy bucket. We fell into that trap midway through the 2nd but they clamped down after Brad's timeout.

We took an early lead, then they made a run...we withstood their run and made our own. It's a game of runs...we need to make sure we have the last run and we keep defending hard. Defense turns into offense and that's when we can get some easy opportunities. They're not making it easy for us with their defensive scheme esp when we're not hitting outside shots.

It would be because I can't do another game like game 6.

I love Smart, ever since he played at Oklahoma State, this is how he's played...        Great player...

For sure.  Siakam has made some shots over Brown, but overall Brown is getting the best of that matchup.  Brown has had stretches where he's completely shut Siakam down.

We all know this one's going down to the last shot of the game.

Ugh I hate games where it comes down to the last shot esp in a Game 7.

That was encouraging.
Couple of thoughts:
1) Jaylen + Smart + Tatum getting buckets may be enough.
2) With Gasol playing, IMO Kemba should be more aggressive. Marc is too slow to cover him. Ibaka on the court - pass the ball more, BW minutes here.
3) VanVleet with great D on Tatum in the post. Not a desirable situation with clock expiring. Jayson can still make tough shots tho.
