Stevens with his usual 'we were trying to hit too many home runs' answer. What about finally making some adjustments? Your offense looked like hot garbage all night long despite having three 20 ppg scorers on the roster.

Still can't fathom that Kemba only had 9 shot attempts tonight.

He's been our best player this series and only took 9 shots??

Also Timelord needs to be playing more than 15 minutes. This series is perfect for him and he makes an impact. Is he on a minutes restriction? Can't we bump it up a bit more.

THE GREAT ONES find a way to light a fire under their players. Show us what you got Brad.

Can we tell Kemba to display such introspective reflection at maybe half time?

I feel like Brad Stevens is always trying to sell me insurance.

What a boring, lifeless coach.

I think he is a heck of a coach.

...we had bad draw.  It is never easy to beat a Champion, and even harder when we underestimate their heart.  I rather be playing Milwaukee right now.

Enough of the champion stuff. First they beat a team without two of its best players and second they lost their MVP of the finals.

Yeah, this decision to limit Timelord's playing and stick with Theis - who has probably legitimately been the worst player on the court this series - has been very frustrating and inexcusable with how bad Theis has been.

This has only rivaled by the Kanter move last game that has ultimately spearheaded this comeback by Toronto.

Celtics bench was 2-6 on 3s but the starters were 5-27.

Been watching Celtics playoffs games since the 60's.

If you want to go home at 2-2? Knock yourself out.

1984? Your kidding right? Lakers win game one 115-109 in the freaking Garden? Game three Lakers destroy us 137 - 104...they're up 2-1....they have home court now? Celtics win in 7.

In 1974 Milwaukee and the Celtics are tied 2-2 in the finals. In the 7th game Kareem hit 26 pts, but Cowens got 28 and Hondo 16...Celtics win another title. Boston was on fire for that series. Johnny Most was on every radio everywhere....Tommy Heinsohn had the biggest lapels and sideburns in the world.

Are you kidding me two to two?

This thing hasn't even started yet. Three game series coming up.
Great post. I agree, it definitely isn't over, and the hot takes on this thread have been ridiculous (by people who barely posy on here, I might add). I just need to see some mental fortitude out there. We look like we're playing like zombies.

Yeah, game threads work better if you ignore about 75-80% of the posts, which are basically the same post, by the same people (who also appear to have extremely limited basketball acumen) fans, ad nauseam. The rest of it is good though.

there, I fixed that for you.

Offense was hot garbage but defending the three was even worse. We were lucky the Raps only hit what they did. They should have had 30 made 3s. They’re wide open every time.

We are constantly scrambling and they were constantly wide open tonight. What the heck was going on.

Also apparent that Jaylen hasn’t slept since his poor defensive positioning the other night. He was useless tonight. That .5 seconds will decide this series unfortunately.

TIMELORD Has better hands, better passing and better shot blocking. If Theis can't hit a 3 what's his edge over TIMELORD?

I think he's a solid Xs and Os guy. Did a heckuva job navigating an undermanned team to G7 of the ECF in '18.

But can he get this team to the next level? I honestly don't know.

He's a good coach, but overrated by the masses. Not the Boy Wonder that some think he is.

He has shown his mettle as a giant killer that seems to fall a little short. Not sure if he can coach a team that is expected to win.

I expect them to win a game 5. Not having to go to Toronto now has its advantages.

So much negativism!!

Bad shooting is what it is, a few too many turnovers though.

I rarely pin this on Brad, but I feel like he really needs to come up with some adjustments to Nurse's excellent defensive adjustments.
