Just thinking that this series could have potentially ended on Saturday...such disappointment.

Great game from Kemba.
JT didn't feel it on the offense today.
Jaylen was close to perfect guarding Siakam: I guess just about all shots Pascal made, he did against someone else.
Grant is +11, IMO Brad can give him additional time, kid is very reliable.
Next match will be telling)

Yeah Kemba had some great defense down the stretch too, even going to the floor for a steal, and that pass to Theis was awesome.

Tatum just didn't have it tonight.

Not getting the call for a zone when the team's switch everything, man to man defense has been so effective all series. Zones inherently leave someone open. Brad lost this in my opinion
With Taco on the inbound the idea is the pass would have to travel and a zone d can pick off that pass. Brown should have been in between guys and been waiting to steal the pass. Like Tatum setup in a passing lane not on a man.

C’s could be down 2 games or up 3 in this series. They just haven’t been consistent enough on offense. So many stupid turnovers and bad shots. Some of that is Toronto but they can play much better. Toronto was going to start hitting shots eventually.

This game was lost when Brad went to Kanter instead of Williams imo. Love Brad, but that was really confusing. And, let’s be real, Ojeleye should not be playing. This should be an eight man rotation with Wanamaker playing limited minutes. That last shot hurts, but we could have been winning comfortably if Brad hadn’t have messed around in the third.

Brown is catching the heat for the breakdown, but I feel like our entire defense was just wrong there.  We somehow found ourselves at a numbers disadvantage and that just shouldn't happen.

Personally, with .5 seconds left I wouldn't guard the inbound guy.  Gives you 5 to defend 4, without enough time left to pass back to the inbound passer.  There are disadvantages to giving the passer a clear view of the entire court.  I just think that they're incredibly unlikely to find an open shot down a man with that little time left.  And that's 100% hindsight being 20/20 there.  Everybody has opinions when something goes wrong.

That's on Tatum. He let Anonoby go to the far corner all alone. If he stays with him, we win. Unbelievable screw-up by Tatum.

No, that was Brown's typical poor help D.  What a joke.

Nope - watch the full replay. Tatum screwed up.

Dude - they were playing some sort of switch zone, not straight man. That was clearly a screwup on Brown not focusing on

Just because its a switch zone doesn't mean it's Jaylen who messes up. Jaylen ended up being on Gasol because Theis ended up in no man's land. If he's not there its literally a toss up to Gasol and like a five footer. The problem on this play was that Theis and Tatum ended up guarding no one in effect, while Jaylen has to jam Gasol then recover  to the three. Which he almost did. If he does switch then its just Gasol wide open...which i guess you'd rather force them to take the two but its an impossible situation.

I don’t get how you don’t guard the cross court pass for an easy catch and shoot. With that little time left, force them into a tougher release. Anunoby got that pass like it was from a staff member in practice. Pass right in front of him, nobody defending.

You are right. Brad got cute and we all paid.

And this is why I was a bit critical of them after the first half—because they didn't really play all that well in the first half, despite having a 10-point halftime lead. They need to tighten things up.

I hate to say it, too, but I really like OG. He's a really solid two-way player that has been their most consistent performed thus far.

If I did my math right, Tacko's -3 in 0.5 seconds put him on pace for -17,280.
Yup

The worst part about this is that both Lowry and VanFleet had 5 fouls. If we went into overtime, there's a good chance one of them foul out and we get a big advantage because of that.

The Raptors are playing much better each game. Celtics can't be throwing this series away like that. Need to start playing well and stop committing dumb turnovers and play sound defense.
