Nick Nurse on Siakam's drive late in the 4Q: “I think [Marcus] Smart fouled the s--t out of him.”

Nurse is getting into desperation territory now lol This is especially evident because there was hardly the disparity that he is claiming, with us having only 6 more free throws and actually being called for 1 more foul than them. And as physical of D as Lowry, OG, and Siakam play, Nurse has literally no basis here. Half of Tatum's fouls/free throws were him pulling the obvious pump fake/draw contact move that they fell for every time.

Probably coming to the sad realisation that they have $130m locked up in a player who despite being 4 years his senior is vastly inferior to Tatum.

I had a couple of drinks with dinner, but that's still no excuse for coming up with that math

This felt like a game we'd normally lose after a mediocre/brutal 3rd. But we hung in there and had a very strong 4th. Smart was obviously the star but others made some huge plays down the stretch too.

C's are in a great spot. Can't let up, but I'd be surprised if Toronto could win the next 4 out of 5. There's no Kawhi and I think Lowry + Siakam are kind of getting exposed. We should be able to take this series. Hopefully we can.

He's not even wrong I think. There'd be games in his Charlotte days where he'd put up 50+ but lose because the rest of the starters combined to only score like 9 points. And of course if he struggled they'd have no chance most nights
