Today's my birthday, so I'm counting this as a present from the team; it's the first win on my birthday by the Celtics in NBA history! ;D

As awesome as the win today was, we're going to have to play a lot better.  Most importantly cut the turnovers which we have been committing at an uncharacteristic rate through two games against the Raptors.  It took a heroic effort by Smart to win a game that we could have easily lost.  I imagine Brad will be focusing on this quite a bit.

I wonder if Brad was experimenting with doubling Siakam. That left their shooters wide open. Itis looking more and more that Siakam does not need to be doubled. Stay home with their shooters and get a strong body on Siakam.

I domt think Brad played Ojeleye in the second half at all. Ojeleye has been given three years by the Cs and he has not been able to deliver. Not even one spark game.

I would hope that if Hayward was healthy Semi wouldn't be playing at all in this series.

I think there are things that CBS sees that most of us don't. It's almost random at times why he plays a certain bench guy and not another, but its remarkable how often those guys make a few plays for the Cs.

I think CBS likes keeping Siakim off balance by putting a lot of different defenders on him. Smart and Brown both affect you in different ways. Semi and Williams are both rocks that Siakim can't move back.

I've noticed that the Cs have almost completely eliminated Siakim's deadly drop step spin. I think they are meeting him with strength and then baiting him into regular shots, fade-aways, hooks, etc. while staying right in front of him. Siakim just doesn't have the skill right now to make shots like that. He doesn't have those shots in his arsenal.

Raptors are an excellent defensive team. Props to them for creating those turnovers. They move their feet exceptionally well, quick hands too.

Eh, that's not fair.  He has contributed here and there.

He's a fringe rotation player.  It is what it is.  He'll make a three here and a defensive play there, but he's not a dude you want to rely on in major minutes.  He has value to us as a very cheap bench piece.  Not gonna hate on him for being a second-round guy who plays like a second-round guy.

Nick Nurse in his postgame is dumping on Smart and Tatum saying they got away with stuff because of the refs. He's already politicking for game 3. He said Smart fould the 'expletive' out of Siakam on the last drive, which we all saw on the replay over and over again was a clean steal, and that the refs took good care of Tatum giving him more free throws than the entire Raptors team.

Whatever happened to giving some credit to the other team for playing well?

Nurse is getting into desperation territory now lol This is especially evident because there was hardly the disparity that he is claiming, with us having only 6 more free throws and actually being called for 1 more foul than them. And as physical of D as Lowry, OG, and Siakam play, Nurse has literally no basis here. Half of Tatum's fouls/free throws were him pulling the obvious pump fake/draw contact move that they fell for every time.

He forgot to mention how many times his players got away with hacking Kemba during the game.

Probably coming to the sad realisation that they have $130m locked up in a player who despite being 4 years his senior is vastly inferior to Tatum.

Raps fans are turning on Spicy P too!

Robert Williams helped us win this. 11 pts is nothing to Scoff at. He’s contributing nicely and for a 26th pick or whatever he was, you let’s just say we got a heck of a steal.
