Maybe the next 2 games at home will help Phili get back into it....
Except they aren’t at home.  I fully agree with Scal that they will miss their real home court. Didn’t they have the biggest differential between home and away records this season?

Two years ago the controversal but good contributor and smart analyst LarrybirdMVP left the forum with the conviction the process in Philly was way ahead our project. Nothing was more wrong. They could have a line with Embid-Tatum-Simmons-Butler... And now they are cooked.

Idk how you can estimate this version of 76s, but IMO this was one of the best (in that category) C's games for years. Especially if you exclude first 5 minutes. Everybody one the same page, sticking to the game plan, confidence, energy. Philly even looked beaten with like 15-20 minutes to go.
High praises to the coaching staff and literally everybody on the roster.

Yes this is true. But it doesn't explain their outside defense, pick defense and switch are so bad. They were one of the best defense and we enter like butter inside. It can't be only the Simmons miss...

Game ball goes to our bench.  The odd combo of GWill, Kanter, Wanamaker, and Langford + Tatum turned this game completely around for us after our starters really came our poorly.  Props where props are due.

This game uncovered options I didn't think Brad had.  If we can get play like this from the bench, just wow.  Gentlemen, please continue to make the most of your opportunities!

Agree.

I didn't think that lineup would work.  I thought the lack of scoring from the supporting cast would let the Sixers load up on Tatum and potentially go on a run.

Instead Tatum went super saiyan, the rest of the guys hit key shots and played defense, and we punched the Sixers right in the mouth.

As a relatively young and very good team I think the lack of fans will help us in this tournament. Less fans = less distraction/pressure, which might help us achieve our potential.

A lesser talented team like Philly needs that boost more than we do IMO.

Horford another 2 point, 1 rebound performance in the 2nd half after the same stat line in the first half.  He did have one block in the 2nd half.

I'm sure Philly fans are losing their crap right now.

It really is bad.

Like, I think he'd look better in a different role on a different team, but I'm not so sure anymore.  He's gotten worse as the season went on and has been worse yet in the bubble.

It's remarkable because he was completely invisible out there.  He may be aging but the skill set that has served him so well in his career should still be there.  I'm guessing a combination of poor fit, poor chemistry, a probably bad coaching - I don't watch basketball outside of the C's anymore so I'm not sure.  Maybe he really is just cooked.

I mentioned it earlier, but a few years ago, the 76ers turned down a trade offer for the #3 draft pick that became Jaylen Brown. The Celtics asked for Nerlens Noel and the Lakers pick that they eventually picked up in the Tatum trade.

Can you imagine Embiid-Tatum-Simmons-Butler-Brown?

I wish I could bottle up that feeling and take it everywhere with me.

Larbrd33 was banned from CS for some comments he made, which is really unfortunate (you can find him over at Celtics Reddit if you want to find him).

Anyway, that wasn't exactly what he said, but he was on board the process. Unfortunately for Philly, they squandered just too many of those picks. If they had taken Tatum instead of Fultz, for instance, I don't think we'd be laughing right now. Honestly, last year might have been their best chance. They traded away some solid players and picks for Harris and Butler (and unfortunately they lost Butler and signed Horford in his place). The Kawhi experiment just proved to be a little too much...by a bounce.
