frustrating that they won't focus on D for even just a 6 minute stretch which would put them well ahead in this game

Tatum needs l :-*ayup drills. He's 1 for 9.

He cannot get separation so he ends up taking either a contested shot or an off balanced somewhat open shot. What he should do is get the defense moving by moving the ball or letting the screen game run.

I dont think separation has been a huge problem this game, he's literally missed three point blank layups. Its confounding that a guy with such good touch from the line and 3 misses those shots.

Disagree. Those shots have no proper balance due to not getting proper separation.
