good team?

without Doncic they are just ok

I will take the win but this should have been a layup for the Celts (and it was)

Bench production was brutal too. They are going nowhere in the post season unless they upgrade G.Williams/Wanamaker/Edwards/Semi etc.  None of those guys can score consistently.

I thought the Celtics were also missing key players and The Mavs just beat the Bucks in Milwaukee.... Mavs are 18-9 The Celtics are 18-7

First-half observations:

• Horrible start to the game. Not sure which was worse: Boston’s offense or the officiating.
• Great job by Kemba to get them back in the game.
• Good rebounding by Boston.
• Boston’s 3pt D continues to stink. One thing I noticed: the Celtic responsible for covering the weakside corner shooter keeps sagging WAY off, leaving the guy wide open.
• Horrible officiating.
• Not sure why Grant Williams is playing.
• Boston’s 3pt shooting continues to stink.
• Switching doesn’t work on a 7-4 guy.
• Seth Curry has turned into his brother, apparently?
Lol at the last point. We have some special ability to turn mediocre small guards into super stars

They sure do, unfortunately!

Yeah the C's just decided to attack one one match ups after the trapping of Kemba derailed their regular offense after the first quarter. Also seemed to be a way for them to attack the length the Mavs had by drawing at least one big out of the paint.

During the post season bench production is LESS important than in the regular season, not more.

I do think we could use a shooter off the bench, though having Marcus back makes a lot of bench lineups work more smoothly as he's our best option to play backup PG.

Great win without Smart and Hayward..help Luka was out also lol...but still a win is a win..what a difference Walker makes on this team than Kyrie
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Yeah the big three was amazing. And Jaylen's free throw shooting has drastically improved from last year.
Tatum even played some really good defense.

Grant Williams had himself a decent game. Kanter, not so much! He was getting abused by Porzingins and really needs to show more effort!

Speaking of Porzingis, he's a really special player.

And I don't know how Dwight Powell floundered when he was briefly here in Boston, because he's turned into a good player in Dallas.

Three things.

A. Its been 5 years and he's been given minutes on a mostly non-playoff team so he's had the opportunity to get better under a good coach.

B. The NBA has gotten smaller, this allows him to play at C where he can use his quickness most effectively.

C. He was in Boston for a very short time as a rookie, rookies usually suck no matter what the end up being.
