I remember Brown's second Summer League. It has been quite an arc.
This year we've watched him be "the best player on the court" for stretches. Last year's playoffs, he played to the end. He has "fighter" in him....not huge doses, but, it's there.
If I was in charge, the last shot goes to Kemba or Hayward....when that changes and it goes to Brown? You got your KL comparison talk.
Brown still "checks out" now and then. It's not a problem and it is diminishing, but, his team is loaded with talent and he gets caught watching them sometimes.
Brown is a "top defender"...he can tangle with pretty much anyone.
Finally, Gregg Popovich loves Brown and wants him on his team and has felt this way for some time now. I guess there's your "seal of approval."
