Gotta say, smart is basically the absolute pinnacle of 3+D player. He plays all-defense team level D, takes nothing but 3's (all his shots today) with the added bonus of being an above average passer.

The defense is prolific. As for the 3s, even though he’s making them, I don’t like him taking 3s. I worry come playoff time those 3s are gonna end up being bricks. I like Marcus primarily being a distributor and running the 2nd unit.

Gordon'll be fine. There was only a minute or two left in the half, so it makes sense to go to the rooms rather than work on him on the bench.

I've been as skeptical of Smarts shooting as anybody but its gotten to the point where I no longer yell at my TV when he launches one. As with the C's second unit a Smart three often is one of the better shots the C's can generate .

Too soon to say this team will have the best record in the East? It doesn't feel like it.

If we do, we have a chance at the finals. I think us, Philly, and the Bucks will finish with the first 3 seeds, so if we manage to be #1 that would mean only facing one of them, and only in the ECF. That would be a great opportunity for us

And at home, too. It's a lot to ask, but this team is playing incredibly right now!

  • GOT IT!!!
When Smart shoots an open three I expect him to hit it now. He's always had good form, but now he's a consistent shooter.

Ughh, I hope not. I dislocated my finger at the beginning of a basketball season once in high school and it never got better. Gordon is all touch, too, so if it's anything but his pinky on his left hand, I will be bummed.

We have 5 blue chippers playing team basketball.

It's so fun to watch!

Its not great but the alternative is likely a wrist issue, which is worse.

Yes. For Maine.

They tip off for their season opener in about half an hour. Games are streamed free online.
