If Romeo is somehow better than Edwards and G Williams, then this draft class is going to be insane.

Is Romeo going to play at all this season or keep the bench warm? If he's not going to play, then the decision to draft him at 14 is a head scratcher.  Especially when there were other guys available, that the Celts could be playing right now.

Totally agree that there were better picks at #14.
But maybe the Celts were afraid they would lose Jaylen Brown.

Now that Brown is locked up long term, there's just no way Romeo is going to get playing time.

If he is good enough he'll get a bunch of Semi's minutes at least.

He's dealing with a knee injury.

And he's a high-ceiling player, probably more of a project. Not every guy we take is gonna have a high floor, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't take them
I'm bitter.

Just finished a tennis session and saw that we won! How did we do?
It was a up and down game for three quarters then Walker got hot and the C's defense turned up. They rolled in the 4th.

watched on tape delay.  great second half.

takeaway from tonight:
- Jaylen continues to shine.
- Kemba may want to think about taking an easy shot to start the game to get his rhythm a lot sooner in the game.
- Tatum and Hayward had solid games
- Timelord had some moments but showing he has a lot of improving to do - particularly with the team D
- GWill looked really good tonight.  this was the player people have told me he could be this year.  looking forward to see how he develops this year.
- Edwards got his feet wet this game with his shot.  kid is going to be a microwave on offense before the all-star break
- Poirier didn't look half bad.  He's no Baynes but he could be servieable in the right matchups.
- Happy for Tacko that he got his first NBA buckets.  still needs to get a lot quicker on offense and tougher on the boards

Side Note, Barrett looks like he's going to be a real building block for the Knicks.

Once Carsen gets NBA comfortable this team will be even more powerful.

Nice to see KEMBA go get off.

It was the bench unit that initially pushed the lead to 13. Then Kemba got hot.

Very unlikely as Semi is playing the big man role.

Romeo is a real SG.

Tacko has problems rebounding because the ball is coming off the rim way under his outstretched arms. He almost has to reach down to rebound. While everyone else has to jump and extend their arms to rebound Tacko has to crouch and flex his arms. Shrug.

Played poorly in the 1st half then dominated the Knicks in the 2nd half.
That's good news! Who played well?

Good to see Walker have a monster game! It's refreshing to see us have an All-NBA PG with a good attitude.

Kemba was outstanding.

Jaylen was excellent.

Smart, Tatum, Carsen, GWill, and RWill also played well.

Kemba, Grant, Jaylen, Marcus.   Jayson had a good 4th quarter but again very slow to get going.  I thought Gordon was sloppy - 4 TOs.  Bob did some good things; Carsen got some hoops.

Thought besides Kemba, who was outstanding, the star of the game was G Williams although the box score won’t show it. He plays so smart. Gets in great position both offensively and defensively. What an asset.

Jaylen had a so so game (for him) and still scored an easy 19.

Gordon had a frustrating night with turnovers and easy misses and dumb fouls.

I’m worried about Tatum. He has been very inefficient. He’s pressing. Needs to let game come to him. Focus on his D and rebounding.
