We might be 1-1 but after tonight I'm pretty sure we lead the league in charges taken. Guys are definitely getting into lanes and taking charges a lot more than I remember.

Scal just said on post game that Marcus was in Kemba’s ear the whole game encouraging him, telling him to keep shooting, be aggressive...making sure Kemba knew they were behind him....True leadership stuff from our teams heartbeat. Also JT was on the bench shouting “get stops” which he wasn’t doing last year. They were walking on eggshells a bit last year but not this year

I wonder if this was a consistent element of his game we didn't know about. It's a huge play when he does it.
definitely picked up on that dig at Kyrie from Jaylen in the postgame. seems to confirm what many suspected about Kyrie's influence in the locker room

Quote from: DefenseWinsChamps on October 25, 2019, 10:05:29 PMI didn't watch the game, but from the highlights, Jaylen Brown's playmaking looked exceptional. Multiple high level passes and decision-making, scoring at all three levels, etc. And that block on Gasol late ... wow. Can someone confirm or add thoughts on the highlights?JB was impressive he has improved someone mentioned that it seems the game has slowed down for him. He made great decisions all night long. He alone had a lot of highlight plays.

Jaylen Brown with maybe a subtle shot at Kyrie, praising Kemba for boosting his confidence with a pep talk after he forced a shot early in the clock during the fourth quarter. “You don’t always get that. Someone might throw a tantrum or something.”
Jaylen Brown basically apologized to Kemba Walker after taking a quick shot during Kemba’s hot streak: “He ain’t gotta apologize,” Walker said. “He took a great shot. He just missed. I didn’t want him to apologize. I wanted to keep my teammate confident.”
