Is Lebron even a top 5 player any more? He's not even the best player on his own team and was the 3rd best player in the Bucks/Lakers game tonight.

Duncan Robinson looks like he could easily be a decade-long League guy
When a guy like Korver is pushing 2 decades in the league anything's possible
what do you mean a guy like Korver?  He is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history.  Anyone that is essentially a top 5 player in league history at a valuable skill they can play a long time.
He's at the periphery of the top 5 at best - he wasn't a super high volume shooter relative to era, he's definitely behind giants like Allen, Miller, Klay and Curry. His defence is also porous, only being able to shoot (albeit a medium-high volume shooter with historic efficiency) doesn't mean that you hold a ton of value when teams can hunt you because you're a poor defender. He's been a slight negative overall for a few years but he's still in the league because he can shoot (and even his shot has regressed - his efficiency has cratered on lower volume).

He's still easily in the top 5 I think. I think only guys like Giannis, Kawhi and Davis are in his class overall this season (Doncic can't defend well enough to have that kind of two way impact).

I have Embiid, Giannis, Kawhi, Davis, Harden and George as better maybe Kat, Jokic and Donic too. I'm not even counting Curry or Durant.

He's almost universally considered a top 5 MVP candidate.

That's...a pretty hot take. Btw Curry and Durant are out for a big chunk of this season so they don't really count.

I'm not counting Curry and Durant. I just think there are 5 names on that list that are better than LeBron.

Clips were kinda passive in the second half but Beverley fouled out and Lou Wil was tossed out.

They lost it in the 3rd quarter...came out flat and Westbrook had a head of steam. Then Harden got hot. And the Clips didn't help themselves getting 2 players tossed out, Lou Wil's was totally avoidable, they were talking to him for a minute but he wouldn't shut up. Liked seeing Harden get in Westbrook's face when he got T'd up giving Bev a sendoff

When you're the third best player to Giannis and Anthony Davis that's not exactly a black mark against being a top 5 guy as both of them are top 5 as well with Giannis being a clear top 1.

Looking forward to watching this game once I can grab it from a streaming site, since its one of the most likely Finals matchups.

what do you mean a guy like Korver?  He is one of the greatest shooters in NBA history.  Anyone that is essentially a top 5 player in league history at a valuable skill they can play a long time.

You don't seriously have Korver in your top 5 shooters of all-time.
He is 4th all time in 3 pointers made (Allen, Miller, and Curry are ahead of him).  He is 10th all time in 3 point percentage, but several players ahead of him are far less prolific.  The players ahead of him are Steve Kerr, Hubert Davis, Drazen Petrovic, Seth Curry, Steph Curry, Jason Kapono, Tim Legler, Steve Novak, and Joe Harris.  4 times Korver led the league in 3 point percentage topping out at 53.6% which is the all time record (more than a full percentage point higher than Kerr).

So yeah, Kyle Korver is one of the 5 greatest shooters in history (and I'm really referring to 3 point shooting, but Korver is also a top 20 foul shooter all time as well).  The only guys I'd clearly have ahead of him would be Steph, Durant, and Allen.  I'd listen to arguments on Kerr, Klay, and Reggie, but that is it given both his percentage and the prolific nature he shot them.  Now I do think if guys like Bird grew up today, they'd be on the list, but Larry played in an era where players just didn't utilize the 3 point shot like they do today (and people forget that Bird had 4 straight seasons where he shot under 29% from 3).

So yeah, Kyle Korver is a top 5 3 point shooter in history.  I don't really think it is all that debatable either given his standing on the all time lists for both makes and percentage.

Lebron is the 2nd best player in the world behind Giannis (without Durant) especially given his health.  If you told me I'd get 75+ games from Kawhi, I'd consider having him at 2, but he just misses too many games.  Harden is a better offensive player right now, but he isn't a good enough defender.  Same is also true of Doncic.

My MVP vote so far this year (which isn't the same thing obviously)

1. Giannis
2. Lebron
3. Harden
4. Doncic
5. Butler

My Best player in the world vote (without Durant/Curry)

1. Giannis
2. Lebron
3. Kawhi
4. Harden
5. Davis
