Sixers traded Butler's scoring and Redick's shooting for Horford's old age.

This season's Sixers is not better than last season's Sixers.

Celts just need a minor upgrade to match Philly's size.

At the start of the season, I really thought the C's needed a great regular season and had to get the #1 seed to avoid having to play both the Sixers and the Bucks in the playoffs.

2/3 seed might end up being a sweet spot though.

It would be great if the Sixers finish 4 or 5 and have to play the Bucks in round 2.  Even better if they lose in round 1 to the Heat, Raptors, or Pacers.

Cart before the horse, and a long way to go still, but I can dream.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Brunson savvy reminds me of vanvleet. Not as good a shooter but tough attitude, fearless.

I agree, that's the ideal situation, Sixers ending up #4 or #5.

It's really possible that happens because most teams are not as small as the Celts.

If opposing teams can hold their own inside the paint, the Sixers will end up getting outgunned by the opposing team because the Sixers are really lacking shooters.

I have Embiid, Giannis, Kawhi, Davis, Harden and George as better maybe Kat, Jokic and Donic too. I'm not even counting Curry or Durant.

Come playoffs LBJ is still #1 until he is not.

Your giving LeWhine too much credit.. He didn't even make the POs last Yr and now he is number one.. Lol.

Yes at his age he is definitely still good but number one he is definitely not.

Giannis is definitely playing like one now and he has done so as well last playoffs until he ran into Kawhi.

Imagine having a PG that has only shot a three twice in 3 years.

He's honestly a combo forward (I think you're referring to a certain player in Philadelphia ).

That Dallas win away by the Celtics is looking like an underrated win. They almost beat Miami in the game they lost Luka. Beat Milwaukee. And are about to beat Philly.

Mavs played great tonight. Better road team lol.
They're obviously well-coached and Porzingis has begun to find his groove these past games.

On Philly's end, how embarrassing is it to lose to zone in back to back games? I worry for Brett Brown's job security.
It's more of a personnel issue, Simmons really tanks your spacing if you don't have multiple elite three point shooters.

Lakers fans wanting a Lakers-Bucks NBA Finals for the ratings...

But I want a Celtics-Mavericks NBA Finals. These two would be fun teams when fully healthy.

Agreed. I worry about our lack of defensive cover on Porzingis, but I think we match up against them pretty well.

From ESPN: “ Embiid said the 76ers need to attack the zone with more aggressiveness and take the shots when they are there.”

Hmm. Who could that be about?

That was an aberration.

Celtics double teaming a lot inside allowed the Sixers to make more 3s than they should.

pretty obvious though Simmons did have 7 foul shots while Embiid only had 6.  Rest of the team had 5 total.  The reality is though you aren't going to win many games when you are 10 of 34 from deep especially when you get outrebounded, get out foul shotted, and let the other team shoot nearly 10 points higher from the field.  Hard to win those games.  Dallas was just better from everywhere.

Watching the Sixers struggle against the Wizards’ zone is hilarious/entertaining. Simmons will not shoot, even from 8-10 feet in the lane, wide open. Forwards and even Al Horford are defended by IT at the foul line and have no idea what to - results in moving the ball along or even turnovers. Just amazing.

Only reason Wiz aren’t ahead is that they’re bricking three after three.
