Hayward needs to be the guy for them along with Walker.  Tatum needs to defer or they need to move him.

I agree.  I wrote that earlier.  Brad needs to establish a pecking order.  Hayward needs to creat more and Tatum less.  Hayward keeps the ball moving and finds open guys.  Tatum holds on to it stopping the movement and then only looks for his own shot.

This.

Blame this one on Brad Stevens

No net presence

Simmons destroys in the interior
It's Brad's fault we have no good interior defenders...?

I guess you didnt watch the game

Robert Williams made the 76ers at least think twice

Why not give Porier some mins?

76ers kills the Celts on the interior (offensive end)
Nope, I watched the game. Thanks for asking tho. Imagine acting like some back of the bench undrafted rookie would have made a difference lol.

Ya I don't know, hard to draw much from this game.

Hayward looked good, but he was also heavily matched up with Horford having too defend him on the perimeter which is a match up he should win. So thats a positive, but not ready o say he's "back" yet.

Tatum looked bad, but I dont think he took  bad shots. Just need to make his shots. Same as Kemba. Chalk it up to bad shooting luck.

Brown was the victim of some bad foul calls, thought he attacked the rim well. We'll see what he does when he can get in rhythm.

Our interior D didn't get torched, which was nice.

SOOOOOOO many fouls. FT's weren't that differnet actually, but it really effected our rhythm.

I am done with Brad, yall can cut him as much slack as you want, but I have seen enough. DONE. He is going to have to win back my trust.

He sat these veterans for the last preseason game. He must have thought they were ready. Huge fail.

It’s going to be a long season for you Ogaju if you’re giving up after one game

lol it was a long season last season I just do not wish to be an Ostrich this season.

Refs kept Philly in this, in the 1st half....C's sucked in the 2nd half...an nobody can shoot anymore.
First half leads meaningless anyway.

Makes zero sense...we shoulda been up 10+ at halftime, instead of down...Philly looked awful, but Refs saved them.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

In other news Kyrie had 50Pts 7 rebs 8 assists and Brooklyn lost by a point

Fk Kyrie... I'd honestly still stick with Kemba despite Walkers bad game.

What we missed was Al. We need a Center and what we have are all crap.

Well, the team is rusty early, but the standard wailing and moaning in the game threads is sure in mid-season form.

Relax.  It was a frustrating game (mainly because of poor reffing), but it's the first game of the season and we lost to one of the top two teams in the East on the road.

yeah yall made excuses last year too. Its not the loss. You cannot win every game. The team just plain looked bad.

There's not a lot of continuity from last year.  Losing Horford meant losing our most stabilizing player.  The chemistry understandably is not there yet.  If we look this bad 15 to 20 games in, then yeah I'll be concerned.

I know he had 21/10, but Tatum was frustrating tonight. Not good. His extremely poor shot selections late in the 1st half killed our offense and basically made a 6 point lead become a 1 point deficit in just 2 minutes.

Same thing as last year. Too much settling for jumpers and less aggression when driving.

The hope is Tatum grows into our superstar, but unfortunately I'm getting Carmelo vibes from him now...

I will give him till December. If it's still bad by then I will join you in calling Brad a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.hound!  ;D

Siakam will score 30 on us and prove he deserves 130 m while JB will suck again and give us a pedestrian 12 point 4 reb performance.

It's Brad's fault we have no good interior defenders...?

whose fault is it?

Who's fault is it that we don't have interior defenders? The roster is put together by the GM, so...

But, of course, everything bad that ever happens is Brad's fault

We don't need interior defenders, c'mon man. We got a herd of athletic perimeter guys - that is Danny and Brad's dream team.
Do they even know what a post player looks like ?

This one hurt me. I expected better. Feel we panicked a lot. Need to adjust better to the refs.

All the missed free throws means we were tight.

Best game Simmons has ever played against us.

Just one game.

Putting all ranting about Tatum and Brad aside - the positives tonight to me were Hayward, Time Lord and the defensive effort, which wasn't bad for the most part. Kemba having a bad game and Jaylen getting in foul trouble early and being a non factor doesn't bother me.

I'd just forget about it and try again Friday night. Neither of these teams was ready for the intensity of this type of game.
