This team might be less fun to watch than last year. At least Irving was fun to watch

Hayward needs to be the guy for them along with Walker.  Tatum needs to defer or they need to move him.

This game just shows how important it is for Hayward to be our first option.  Not Tatum.  Not Kemba.

I wanted them to thrash Philly but I'll take no injuries over that.
I moved the cheese.

Of all the things JB practiced this summer free throws clearly weren’t one of them
I think he is what he is at the line by now.

If they hit a normal percentage of free throws and Jaylen doesn’t get into foul trouble we would’ve been fine. Most pleasant surprise was that Embiid and Horford weren’t a huge mismatch.
Embiid looked very rusty.  I don't think you can read much into this game on any side.  It was just an ugly awful to watch basketball game.

Pretty much, and it was exacerbated by the officiating.

Just pathetic. Really poor showing from almost everyone, including the coach. If this is what this season is going to look like it'll be time to move on from Brad. Maybe a great motivator of kids, but clearly can't take control of his own players or the games.

Danny needs to start looking for a coach that can light some fire under his players. Perhaps that is not Brad.

Yeah, because Brad has never had a team where guys played hard for him  ::) ::)

Brad makes mediocre players play great and great players play mediocre. Under him, we've been better on the floor the less talent we put out there.

LOL Tatum is barely 21 and Brad cannot control him. What a joke.

Tatum has been atrociously bad. Like wow. He looked like he learned absolutely nothing last season, and didn't do anything to improve his game in the offseason.

Kemba will be fun too but clearly tonight was not his night.  Terrible debut.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Those missed FTs made it even harder for us.

But hey, Gordon Hayward looks good, I'll take that. Hoping for a more efficient game from Jayson Tatum next time.

First game of the season so no overreacting. Hayward looked good. This game felt like a preseason game. Simmons has a good game. Kemba and Tatum were awful. So many missed free throws.
