The fact that he played injured, gutted it out and still did fairly well on a weak Indiana team where he was likely the primary focus of opposing defenses - and still averaged 16 a game, boded well.
He’s not an outwardly emotional player on the court but the way he plays attacking the basket and again combined with playing through injury kind of reminds me of Paul Pierce, toughness wise.
Then, when you watch him play, he has a lot of junk in his offensive arsenal - outside, mid range, at the basket with either hand... i’d Be surprised if he does poorly over the long term. His reserved demeanor may be misleading
