Genuine question. He was a pretty ugly baller, but his defence was uber reliable, and he kinda had a career year offensively.

Yes, Morris would've been perfect playing the 4 this season for the Celts.

I think Morris will be a better 4 than Tatum or Brown.

It's just unfortunate the Celts couldn't keep him because of the salary cap.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I am. I loved his attitude and didn’t expect more of him on the court than he gave.

Yeah I'll miss him, he was a tough guy who also had a positive impact on the court.

Yep, I will. He had a great season last year. Statistically quite similar to Tatum in the major categories. I think all teams need a player like him. And he's one of those guys that always seems to kill your team when you play against him.

Care to expand at all?

For some reason I won't miss him, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

He is a selfish player who is a mediocre shooter.  Sure he made some big shots, but he also went for a very long stretch mid-season where he couldn’t put it in the ocean.  He’s also overrated as a defender.

At the salary he was being paid last year yes I will miss him. He was a pretty versatile player who added some mongrel to our team. But not at his salary right now.

I guess Enes Kanter will take his role as enforcer if anyone tries to mess with us.

In the beginning of the year he was one of the team's most reliable shooters. Maybe Kanter can fill that role. Will have to wait and see if he'll be missed.

I suspect that with our current bench being thin on experience, Morris' absence on the court will be noticeable this year and not in a good way

Hell no. Good riddance.

I didn't like his personality. Too much about himself.
