Under...that much youth and inexperience doesn't usually equate to 50 or more wins in a season.

This is a really good line. I expected it at 46 or 47, and if that was the case I'd take the over.

At 49.5 I would never feel comfortable betting the over.

The most interesting thing about this (to me) is that this team was supposed to have decreased expectations after the weight of the expectations did them harm last year. 49.5 wins aren't decreased expectations.

You can't predict wins without also predicting losses.  A lot of teams got better, but only a few got appreciably worse (e.g. the Hornets).

at first I would have agreed with you on the Lakers but after having looked at who they added after AD, I think I'd take the over even in a tough Western conference.  As long as the C's beat them in both matchups this coming season and the Lakers get booted out of the playoffs early, I don't care how many games they win.  I'd hope for less though not just because I hate the Lakers but also I want their fans and FO to have deep regrets with each pick that goes to NO
