Looks a fair number to me.

I went with 48 wins so I'll take the under.

I'd give us low 50's at least.

I'd give Indy right around 50 wins - if not more, though. They will have one of the best back courts in the NBA with Oladipo and Brogdon.

Indy will be a DEEP team, too. Well-coached. They are my dark horse, right after us.

50 wins seems like the optimistic-yet-reasonable outcome to predict.

I would probably take the under, just because of what could go wrong.  But 50 wins seems very realistic given how weak the bottom third of the conference is.

Interesting they predict enough crappy teams such that it's possible that the Memphis pick could convey this coming draft.  also can't help but laugh that they don't think Rozier is going to save Charlotte from being the bottom feeder this coming season

We really seemed to struggle against non-playoff teams last year.  I think that will change this season.

yeah I think this win total is more about the bad teams in the bottom of the east than it is about the C's.

It is usually shocking how close some of the vegas oddsmakers are...so 45-50 wins I think is reasonable.

They have Orlando winning less games then they did last year and they are basically the same team (and a young one so presumably they will improve).  Brooklyn they have as barely improving despite at least on paper getting a fair amount better (Irving, Jordan, Prince, Chandler, Temple > Russell, Crabbe, Carroll, Dudley, Davis).  So it seems the weak bottom only applies to Boston.  It just seems very strange.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Tie with Bucks...win on head to head.

They have Orlando winning only 0.5 games less while they have Brooklyn improving by 2 games.  Orlando was a borderline playoff team to begin with.

Orlando only added the mystery man Markelle Fultz and a first round draft pick that can't play because he blew out his ACL last spring.  None of those teams moved much from last year with Brooklyn moving the most.  The nets will probably be better, but they were a sneaky good team last year, overlooked pretty much the whole year.  They won't have that advantage this year with Kyrie.

Also, they only have Boston at 0.5 more wins than last year.  I think you are nitpicking, and these predictions seem pretty reasonable to me.  Maybe we win 47/48 games....I think they are in the ballpark.

I am not sure how young Orlando is, at least in terms of players that will improve next year specifically.

Their top 5 players in minutes were Vucevic, Ross, Fournier, Gordon and Augustin. All of those guys were over 28 minutes per game. I think it is safe to say Vucevic, Fournier, Augstine and Ross are not going to make big leaps because of their age (all 26 or over). Even Gordon at 23 has been a pretty similar player the last few years.
They definitely have some wild cards in Fultz, Bamba and Isaac, but I don't think anyone would expect those guys to play over 25 minutes.

On the flip side it seems like we obviously expect Brown and Tatum to play over 30 minutes a game next year and be in line for pretty steady improvements...

Not to get too off topic, but I'm laughing at LAL at 49.5 and BKN at 44.5.

Our record against below .500 teams was 32-8.  On the other hand against the .500 and above teams, our record was 17-25.
