After this offseason I’m all set On giving trade scenarios and trying to predict what’s the Celtics would/should do. It’s really just an impossible game to play and you will only be disappointed. Who would of thought out of all the possible scenarios we would have Kemba Walker and Enes Kanter.....

I’m really not high on the Celtics this upcoming season. I feel like we have a log jam in the guard position. This bothers me because I don’t feel like Brown will get the touches “I” would want him to have. I also feel we have a hole in the paint talent wise.

After last season I just knew we would either have to build around brown and Tatum or build around Kyrie and Horford but having both of these timelines wasn’t working. Well we are in same boat now with a mix of 2-3 different timelines going on at the same time. If we just did the draft and went young and built around Brown,Smart, and Tatum I would have been far more excited about this team.

I love Kemba, and knowing how Brad's system works I am completely comfortable with a core moving forward of Kemba/Smart/Brown/Tatum.  Issue is center.

Random thought from the beginning of the thread.

Giannis plays in the same space as a wing, but he dunks like no one since Shaq. That's what makes him so [dang] special. He's young Blake Griffin, but bigger and more athletic. If he can develop as a player like Blake (Blake's growth is so impressive even as his knees betray him) has he's going to rule the NBA.

As much as I do not want to trade Jaylen, I can see Danny trading him. So its hard for me to get mad about people proposing trades.

If Danny think's he's closer to Harrison Barnes instead of a future all-star then he's going to try HARD to move him.

It's also the dog days of summer.   Not much to talk about on the blog so naturally, things will drift to hypotheticals like trades and 2025 potentials free agents.

Didn't read anything in this thread or the OP but TP to OP anyway.

But real quick what do you guys think about Brown + Memphis 1st for Mo Bamba? I heard Danny got high with him one time.

I can't tell if you're channeling Kanye's "Ima let you finish..." energy or joking.

Our two young Js are not bigs.

Giannis is considered a big man.

Wing players like the two Js usually show star potential in their first 3 seasons in the league.

Red Auerbach's ways are a thing of the past.

In today's NBA, you can become an instant contender with just one move.
Toronto did it last season.

Auerbach didn't have to deal with the current salary cap rules.

Things move a lot faster in today's NBA.

Tone deaf response to OP.
